● ‘Tenet’ Deals With Spies, Physics and Entropy, and a Global Threat to the World
Also Nolan crashed a real 747 airliner for this flick cause "it's more efficient."
● ‘Youth’ Will Rapidly Age Pierce Brosnan in New Science Fiction Drama
Set in the near future, Youth states that “‘Renewal’ is the world’s hottest commodity, a procedure to rewind your body’s biological clock. Joel (Brosnan) is an ad-tech engineer who is about to retire at age 70, but his company doesn’t want to lose him and pays for him and his wife to Renew. His wife returns in her twenties, but Joel’s procedure goes wrong, and he begins aging rapidly.”

De regisseur creëerde eerder al een kortfilm op datzelfde idee (trailer hierboven) en deze werd blijkbaar gesmaakt want hij mag nu zelf de langspeler regisseren.
● ‘Descender’ and ‘Ascender’ Sci-Fi Comic Books Are Getting Turned into a TV Series
The sci-fi story by bestselling author Jeff Lemire (Black Hammer) and artist Dustin Nguyen (Batman: Streets of Gotham) follows TIM-21, a companion robot who is thrust into a hostile cosmos where androids are outlawed and bounty hunters lurk on every planet.
Descender consists of 32 issues published from 2015 through 2018. It takes place in a world where there was a robot uprising against mankind, but all the machines retreated into space after their massive war. Years later, we meet a robot named TIM-21, built to be a companion to a child. As the story unfolds in a journey across space, TIM-21 realizes that he’s an integral part of a conspiracy that reveals why robots rose up against humans and what they were really after.
As for the more recently published Ascender, digging into the plot of the sequel would give some spoilers away for Descender. So we’ll just say that it takes place 10 years after the events of Descender and takes the story in a completely different direction with new characters, worlds, and more. Combined with Descender, it certainly provides more than enough material for an entire television series.

● ‘The Blue Afternoon That Lasted Forever’: ‘A Quiet Place’ Producers Team Up With ‘Robopocalypse’ Author
The Blue Afternoon That Lasted Forever is adapted from Wilson’s own short story, which “follows a single dad and NASA physicist who discovers a black hole that will strike earth in a matter of days. The problem is that no one, including his colleagues at NASA, believes him. The one person that trusts him is his 10-year-old daughter, but that bond is now being threatened by a different force. Eric finds himself trying to save both his relationship with Marie and a populace unwilling to heed his warnings of the impending disaster.”
The spec was the source of a hot bidding war, with several bidders, including Amblin, J.J. Abrams, Sony and MGM, chasing the project before Paramount landed it.
● Halle Berry Will Save Us All From the Moon in Roland Emmerich’s ‘Moonfall’
In Moonfall, “the moon is knocked from its orbit by a mysterious force and is on a collision course with Earth. Life as we know it hangs in the balance and with just weeks to go before impact, a ragtag team is sent on a seemingly impossible mission to land on the lunar surface and save humanity.”
... Yep, this sounds like an Emmerich flick alright.

De trailer van Foundation lijkt weinig overeenkomsten te tonen met de boekenreeks. Maar er werd decennialang gezegd dat het moeilijk te vertalen was in een film of tv format, dus na verschillende studio's en grote namen die eerder hun tanden op stuk bijten is het wel een achievement op zich! Ik denk dat de 2021 eerder op het einde van dat jaar zijn.

Ze hebben zonet een openingssalvo van trailers het web opgezwierd en zitten precies wel wat geinige dingen tussen en jawel ook een "nieuwe" SF reeks.
