Toch maar mijn sub cancelled op de oude GOA-site, het loopt toch nog tot 13 juli & met die 2 weken free zit ik nog een tijdje goed. Vertrouw die creditcard stuff nie zo goed :P

1.3.6 Notes (tot nu toe, van warhammeronline develop' tables forum)
We'd like to announce some upcoming changes for RvR in v1.3.6. As stated by Carrie Gouskos in a recent Producer's Letter, there are many upcoming changes for ORvR in the near future. While some of these changes do affect ORvR, they do not conclude the list by any means. We are vigilantly working on much larger improvements to be released in a later version.

This is intended to open up discussion to the items announced in this thread. For other ideas and suggestions, please place them in the appropriate forum so this thread can remain on topic.


ORvR: Victory Points for PVE and Prior Tier have been removed. New pool values are as follows:
Tier 1
Objectives: 40%
Scenarios: 40%
Skirmish: 20%
Tiers 2 & 3

Objectives: 45%
Scenarios: 35%
Skirmish: 20%
Tier 4
Objectives: 45%
Scenarios: 30%
Skirmish: 25%





ORvR: Zone capture rewards will now only be awarded to players within the RvR lake or an associated Tier's Scenario. Players will remain eligible for rewards for 5 minutes after leaving the RvR lake or an associate's Tier's Scenario as long as the player is within the appropriate pairing.

Against All Odds: in the event that an army is outnumbered within an RvR lake, members of the outnumbered army will receive a scaling bonus to Experience, Renown and Influence. This bonus becomes active on qualified players after being outnumbered by 20% or more. The bonus cannot surpass 400% and requires at least 6 players of each Realm to be present within the RvR lake. (Developer Note(s): this bonus is additive.)

Scenarios: players with the "Quitter!" debuff will no longer suffer a penalty to Experience and Renown but will now be unable to queue for a Scenario until the "Quitter!" debuff has faded.

Contested Cities: Players belonging to the Realm that lost Stage 3 will now always be properly disabled by the Routed ability.

Contested Cities: Portals leading out of the Khorne War Quarters and Slaanesh Chambers no longer check for combat status. (Developer Note(s): YAY!)

Contested Cities: Guards will no longer spawn at the six objectives within Altdorf and The Inevitable City. (Developer Note(s): this corrects an issue where Warlords could become stuck inside geometry.)

Continuing with our "In Development" posts for patch 1.3.6, we're now ready to begin discussing some upcoming changes to several other careers. Just as before, we greatly appreciate your feedback and interest, and we will be heavily moderating this thread to ensure that discussions remain civil and constructive.



Swordmaster:

A new ability, "Sudden Shift", is now trainable at Rank 3. This ability will instantly shift you from No Balance into Improved Balance, or from Improved Balance into Perfect Balance, or from Perfect Balance into Improved Balance. It is off of the global cooldown, and has a 5 second cooldown of its own.


Black Orc:

A new ability, "Changin' Da Plan", is now trainable at Rank 3. This ability will instantly shift you from No Plan into Da Good Plan, or from Da Good Plan into Da Best Plan, or from Da Best Plan into Da Good Plan. It is off of the global cooldown, and has a 5 second cooldown of its own.


Black Guard:

Crush The Weak is moving to Rank 35, and it will now reduce the victim's chance to critically hit based on Hate.
Brutal Smash is moving to Rank 9, and it will now increase Strength, and Willpower based on Hate, for both the Black Guard themselves and their Protected ally.
Feeding On Weakness will now increase Toughness instead of Strength.
Furious Howl is moving to Rank 40.
Horrific Wound is moving to Rank 12, and it will now reduce the victim's armor based on Hate.


White Lion:

Force Opportunity is moving to be available at 9 points in the Path of the Hunter, and its effect has been changed. It is now an undefendable attack which reduces the victim's armor.
Echoing Roar is moving to be available at 5 points in the Path of the Guardian.


Choppa:

Can't Stop Da Chop has had its effect changed, and it will now reduce incoming healing on the victim. It now costs 15 Action Points, and has a 10 second cooldown.

Runepriests & Zealots:
One of our long-time concerns regarding the Runepriest and Zealot careers is that they ultimately become more limited than other Healer-archetype careers. This is because the other healing careers have their Mastery paths sorted by role - people who play those careers make a decision about the role they want to play, then specialize in the corresponding Mastery path and gear up appropriately. Runepriests and Zealot, however, have their Mastery paths sorted by delivery vehicle ("direct", "over time", and "area", essentially) and then have both offensive and defensive abilities together in each Mastery. Since there's obviously no such thing as "gearing for direct", though, Runepriests and Zealots then have to decide again whether they want to be offensive or defensive and then gear appropriately - the net result being that even within their chosen Mastery, half of their abilities are ineffective.

We want to maintain the general setup of the Runepriest and Zealot Mastery paths, but we also want to address this issue. In order to do both of these, we will be adding a new ability to the Runepriest, and changing the functionality of Harbinger of Doom for the Zealot. All Runepriests will now start with an ability named Rune of Breaking, which can be toggled on and off:


While toggled off, the Runepriest is affected by the Rune of Balance. This causes all Intelligence, Magic Power, and Magic Crit stats on items to be negated, and instead converted into Willpower, Healing Power, and Healing Crit bonuses. We're currently planning on these stats converting at a 2:1 ratio - in other words, a total of +100 Intelligence from gear would instead be turned into +50 Willpower while this ability is toggled off.
While toggled on, the Runepriest is affected by the Rune of Breaking. This works the same way but in the opposite direction: Willpower, Healing Power, and Healing Crit stats on gear are negated and instead converted into Intelligence, Magic Power, and Magic Crit, also at a 2:1 ratio.
Rune of Breaking may be toggled on and then back off at any time; doing so is instant and costs no Action Points. However, once it is toggled off, there is a 30 second cooldown before it may be toggled back on again.

For Zealots, Harbinger of Doom will be changed to provide this same functionality. It will become a starting abilities, and can be toggled on or off. While toggled off, the Zealot is the Harbinger of Change (and has the same offensive gear stats converted into the same healing stats), and while toggled on, the Zealot is the Harbinger of Doom (and likewise, has healing gear stats converted into offensive stats). Additionally, all of the Zealot's tactics which currently affect Harbinger of Doom will be redesigned to be appropriate for this new system, and the Runepriest will also gain some tactics which affect Rune of Breaking as well.

Magus:
The Magus has several improvements and adjustments to look forward to in patch 1.3.6. These include:


The Pink Horror's "Daemonic Fire" ability will now also reduce the victim's Elemental Resistance (similar to the Engineer's Gun Turret reducing the victim's Armor).
Perils of the Warp has been redesigned. It will now damage the target and Disarm them, similar to the Engineer's Crack Shot.
Aegis of Orange Fire will now trigger from any attack, not just melee attacks, with a 25% chance. Its damage is increased, and the effectiveness of its Wounds buff has been doubled.
Indigo Fire of Change will no longer summon a daemon. Instead, if the victim dies while Indigo Fire of Change is affecting them, the Magus will regain Indigo Fire's full Action Point cost over 6 seconds.
Strengthen Thrall's effectiveness has been greatly increased.
In addition to its current effects, Chaotic Attunement will now also make Resummon no longer cost any Action Points.

We'd like to announce a couple upcoming changes for General Gameplay in v1.3.6. Please keep in mind that these are not patch notes and additional adjustments may be in the works.

New User Interface option: Sticky Targeting. Enabling this option will prevent you from clearing your target(s) by clicking an empty location in the gamespace. (Developer Note(s): clears the offensive target first in the event that both an offensive and defensive target is selected.)


Player health bars will now update correctly when receiving damage or heals. (Developer Note(s): this corrects an issue where health bars would "flicker or bounce" upon receiving a heal or damage.)

As of June 29, 2010 publishing, operating and subscription services for Warhammer® Online: Age of Reckoning® (WAR) in Europe will be handled by Mythic Entertainment. GOA and Mythic are working to make all characters, guilds and account information available to players on Mythic's European servers. The following is a message from Mythic on the coming transition. We would like to take this opportunity to thank GOA for their commitment and service to the WAR community and to invite you to join us in welcoming the European community to Mythic Entertainment by extending 2 free weeks of playtime to all Current and Former GOA WAR players, following a short transition period starting on 29 June 2010.

Once the transition has begun on 29 June 2010, access to European servers for WAR will be suspended for half-a-day as the new Mythic Entertainment servers are brought online. After this transition period, the full game will once again be accessible on the GOA servers, and starting 6 July 2010 all current and former European subscribers will receive 14 days of free gameplay on our servers and a 100% bonus to Renown and Experience for 14 days!

Iemand die enig idee heeft hoe lang het duurt om'n password change door te voeren op de master account page? Was m'n oud passwoord vergeten, dus maar een nieuw ingesteld, en nog steeds niet lukken hé, best irritant.

En zijn Zealots nu overigens nog iets waard? Want had hier en daar gelezen, en ook het gevoel toen ik deze speelde van release tot drie maand na de release, dat ze nogal gimped waren/zijn. Indien te rerollen, welke healer classes zijn nog deftig? (Liefst geen melee healer zoals DoK) en gaat het lvlen nog cava?

nog iemand problemen met in te loggen op account management?
Khad ne mail gekregen van mythic dat goa ermee stopt en der was ne faq met alle antwoorden over het hele gedoe.
daar stond in dat ge voortaan op https://accounts.eamythic.com/ moet inloggen voor account management. ook stond er ergens dat u usersnaam is veranderd naar <username>_EUR. Dus ik probeer daarjuist in te loggen maar da lukt maar niet :/
