komt er eigelijk een pre paid kaart die je kan kopen in de winkel in plaats van met visa ( want ik maar 14 en heb nog gene visa é :p )
(maar als dit er komt gaan er weer al kleine kindjes op zitten als in wow wat ook weer nie plezant is :) )

Als ik me goed herinner, is er een bedrijf opgericht ala pay-pal dat er voor zorgt dat je een mmorpg kan spele zonder visa maar met overschrijving ...


Nu terug ff over VG, kheb wel een super gevoel over alle classes ...
Bij elke class review wist ik het nimeer, welke class ik zou kiezen :unsure:

En vergeet de player citys en player houses niet he mensen, dit is een van de sterkste troeven van VG en om die redenen zal het spel dan ook zo groot maken volgens mij.

Je praat hier over dat sommige classes beter zijn in solo'en als andere classes. Ik zou willen weten welke precies, omdat ik nog tamelijk graag solo doe. Je weet wel, er is tamelijk veel kans dat iemand int midden van dungeon ofzo vaarwel en de kost zegt. Of ge moet wachten op een goeie groep of er zijn whiners in de groep, je hebt zoveel situaties waarbij je liever hun strot uittrekt. To the point :p: Welke classes zijn goe soloable (Ranger?) en is er een goed grouping systeem?

de Beste solo clas is de Necromancer met zijn diverse ondode pets. Rangers zijn ook redelijk goed. Maar het meeste en het beste van de content is groep gebaseerd, dus solo'n kan wel saai worden. We kennen allemaal wel (naja alle WoW'ers) de ellende die PUG's kunnen zijn, maar ik denk dat dat veel minder zal voorkomen in VG.

WEER een nieuwe patch met bug fixes/quests/craft/dip en gui verbeteringen. Als ze zo nog twee weken doorwerken zal alles perfect in orde zijn tegen de release :applause: :applause: :applause:

Vanguard Build 01648 Patch Notes 1/6/2007

GAMEPLAY
- Flagged all mundane gear (armor, weapons, etc.) as bindable.
- The temporary teleporters have gone through some changes, however, they are still active fairly tempermental. Temporary Tempermental Teleporters (TTT)

ADVENTURING
- Cleric - Lowered the cast time of Anathema to 2 seconds
- Druid - Berries should be tradable again.
- Psionicist - Fixed amplifying returns with Thought Pulse. It should now act more appropriately.
- Psionicist - adjusted the mana regen on Union of Thought and Acumen down a bit.
- Sorcerer - Particle effect on 'Feedback' portion of arcane spells has been removed.

CRAFTING
- Grodek now offers the blacksmith apprentice quest to blacksmiths instead of outfitters.
- You can now study the book for the Thestran Initiate Outfitter quest.

DIPLOMACY
- Vulmane diplomacy. Players should be able to hail trainer and begin line.
- Vulmane Diplomacy: Players should be able to finish "Rock and Roll" quest now.
- Vulmane Diplomacy: Fixed to make sure players get to keep rewards at end of line.
- Vulmane Diplomacy: Fixed spectral "Aspect" models on hill. Now in line with what's available in Thestra.
- Varanjar Diplomacy: Should be able to now beat Bartender Ogrash and Speiglesprock Greenfield in parley.

WORLD POPULATION
- The Lomshir Horsethief quests have been reworked slightly.
- The Vaelwyn Plot: the area in which the distraction can be use it slightly larger. Still much smaller than the distraction itself.
- The quest, "A Fine Opportunity" should now make a lot more sense.
- The quest, "A Fate Worse Than Death" should now make a lot more sense.
- The quest, "Lost Daughter" should be a little clearer.
- Players taking the quest, "Village Scouting" should now know which directions to scout in.
- Fallen aukfruit should now look like what they're supposed to, as should pristine aukfruit and rotten aukfruit.
- The totems of Krigus in the temple of Vol Tuniel should now look like statues of flies.
- Removed floating name, "Smuggler's Cave" under Karibasa, as that it does not exist.
- Farzeen in Khal no longer thinks he is Abad.
- Investigator Trenkle speaks correctly now.
- Callie Potter, in Tursh, no longer stands inside tables.
- The group quest, "Failings of the Mayor" is now marked as group.
- Added several signposts throughout Dahknarg to assist with a new quest progression we just added.
- Fixed a signpost in 'Spirit's Rest' so new players don't have a sign pointing to their starting area that reads "DANGER!"
- Implemented 5-part progressive quest line to help move new players out of Dahknarg all the way up to Lake Carlsson
- Players should find most of the quests now have accurate Travel Journal Entries
- Edited multiple quests to clarify/add directions to the various objectives. Should be much easier to understand now
- Adjusted spawn timers throughout the starting areas to give more players opportunity to finish their quests
- The Tuatiren lizardman complained about it being a little cold outside, so we gave them something to wear
- The Tuatiren lizardman now have guardians watching over their egg nest
- Quest in Temple of Dailuk: Abduction: will now give a map location when you accept it
- Sirens population in the water is a bit more reasonable
- Maera encounter is now working as intended
- Quest rewards in Mekalia, Khal, Martok, Caiel'Brael and Tanvu have been adjusted.

GUI
- Fixed a bug causing chat name links (click to /tell) not to work correctly.
- Fixed a bug with /openall not working when you don't have bags equipped.
- Fixed a bug causing hotkey macro saving and editing to not work on hotkey banks 2-10.

CODING
- The F key is now bound to /assist by default. Some adjustments have been made to the reaction keybinds to compensate.
- Your settings and keybindings will be reset to the defaults. If you've heavily customized your settings, you may wish to make a copy of VGClient.ini and User.ini before you enter the game. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Vanguard Build 01647 Patch Notes 1/5/2007

GAMEPLAY
- Fix for the sometimes issue where you couldn't player to player trade because it thought you were using the mailbox, but you actually weren't
- Gear that sometimes didn't show its health until you log out and log back in should correctly display its health at all times now.
- Damage over time and healing over time abilities now display the total damage not the damage per pulse in the description

ADVENTURING
- Dread Knight - Greatly increased the damage done by Word of Doom.
- Dread Knight - Shadow Meld stance is now available at level 25, up from level 1.
- Dread Knight - Armor of Darkness is now available at level 10, up from level 1.
- Necromancer - Players should now be able to cancel the buff that Shadow Feast gives them.
- Necromancer - The CON debuff portion of Shadow Feast now increases at higher levels.

CRAFTING
- Fixed some complications that were asking for tools when they should not have
- Fixed some complications that were asking for the wrong tools
- Deconstruction recipes have been fixed
- Deconstruction results should work properly now
- Complications hit points have been reduced
- Complications durations have been altered
- Tutorial assembly issues should be resolved

DIPLOMACY
- All newbie races for Diplomacy are available except High Elf. Attempt no landings there.
- Civic Diplomacy is functional in Bordinar's Cleft, Lomshir, and Konarthi Point. Loot, dialogues, and balance are not at their intended state, but testing is needed on the levers themselves.
- Several new Diplomacy quests have been activated throughout Telon.
- Numerous bug fixes in the Kojani Human, Orc, Goblin, Varanjar, Varanthari, Lesser Giant, and Dragon newbie lines. One of the previous races is a lie.
- Deck tweaks in several newbie lines.
- Trainers should now actually make an attempt to beat you at parley during the Repeal and Rebuttal training quests.

WORLD POPULATION
- Vulmane Diplomacy: The new training line for vulmane diplomacy is now up in Dahknarg. Seek out Swiftfang Torsh near Silvermane Hall to begin your journey on the road to saving Dahknarg!
- Tharridon the Mighty should no longer aggro helpless players from great distances so players have a chance to react before they're squashed into oblivion.
- Marsh of Peril Armor Quest: The 'Vurm' tome should now be attainable.

GUI
- Removed the Change Server button until it can be made functional.
- Cleaned up the death release popup.
- Ability examine popups now display the target type of the ability. (e.g. Self, Group, etc.)
- Weaknesses in ability examine popups will now display the appropriate weakness icon.

CODING
- Fixed an assembly bug in which if you had two items of the same name, one of which met a requirement and one which didn't, it would sometimes pick the wrong one and then fail to assemble.

GAMEPLAY
- Parley will no longer damage adventuring gear.
- Bank slots have been reduced to 50
- For the short term, the PvP server will be turning back into a PvE server while we set a final PvP ruleset. Characters on the PvP server will NOT be on the new PVE server but will be saved and placed on the new PvP server when it comes up.

ADVENTURING
- All Classes - Removed Rest hotkey and replaced with Torch hotkey.
- All Classes - You can no longer train Elbarion's Flare
- Bard - Reduced END cost of the Echoing Cut ability line.
- Bard - Reduced END cost of the Hinder ability line.
- Bard - Reduced END cost of the Eaon's Blasting Bellow ability line.
- Cleric - Fixed Anathema upgrades. They will now cost and display correct damage.
- Cleric - Added upgrades to Replenishing Strike, increased the mana returned slightly and fixed costing.
- Disciple - Adjusted damage for melee attacks
- Disciple - Soul Cutter can now be used as an opener again
- Disciple - Added upgrades to all attack abilities.
- Dread Knight - Increased range on Shadow Step to 35m, up from 25m.
- Dread Knight - Fixed a bug with Torture's mana cost. Should be back down to what was intended.
- Dread Knight - Fixed a bug with Provoke's mana cost. Should be back down to what was intended.
- Dread Knight - Increased cost of Scythe of Doom to 40 END, up from 27 END.
- Dread Knight - Decreased Vengeance cost to 40, down from 80.
- Dread Knight - Decreased mana cost of Word of Doom ability line
- Dread Knight - Reduced energy cost of the Bane ability line
- Dread Knight - Reduced energy cost of the Black Wind ability line
- Dread Knight - Reduced energy cost of the Cull ability line
- Dread Knight - Increased overall DoT damage
- Dread Knight - Increased overall AE damage

- Psionicist - Your revamp is live. Many old abilities remain and some new ones have been added. You abilities have been stripped, so please retrain.
- Monk - Reduced END cost of the Stinging Backfist
- Monk - Reduced END cost of the Dragon Sweeps its Tail ability line.
- Monk - Reduced END cost of the Clumsy Whirl ability line.
- Monk - Reduced END cost of the Steal the Wind ability line.
- Monk - Reduced END cost of the Quivering Palm ability line.
- Monk - Reduced END cost of the Waning Palm ability line.
- Necromancer - Entomb now has a 2 second cast
- Necromancer - Added some more feedback to Life Draught and increased its power. Oh...and it works now.
- Necromancer - Fixed an issue with the naming of Power of the Grave III. Casting it now will get you the correct benefits.
- Necromancer - Added mana cost back to the Corruption ability line.
- Necromancer - Added mana cost back to the Death Touch ability line.
- Necromancer - Added mana cost back to the Despoiling Blight ability line.
- Necromancer - There are abilities to train at 16 now.
- Ranger - Reduced END cost of the Feral Strike ability line.
- Ranger - Reduced END cost of the Rancor ability line.
- Ranger - Reduced END cost of the Intercept ability line.
- Ranger - Increased damage for Intercept ability line.
- Rogue - Reduced END cost of the Blackjack ability line.
- Shaman - Your damage spells have been reduced in energy cost
- Sorcerer - Increased Shocking Grasp Damage
- Sorcerer - Decreased Shocking Grasp mana cost
- Sorcerer - Incinerate I has been returned to you.
- Warrior - Reduced END cost of the Riposte ability line.
- Warrior - Reduced END cost of the Smash ability line.
- Warrior - Reduced END cost of the Overwhelm ability line.
- Warrior - Adjusted the levels of brutal strike, devastating strike and killing blow. Added 1 upgrade to each.
- Warrior - Increased the damage of Savage cut slightly and adjusted the effect display description to show proper dot damage.

CRAFTING
- Fixed issue where orbs were still on the dust and resource tables instead of being a possible extra item.
- Updated crafting tools on merchants.
- Ahgram should now provide crafting and continental faction again.
- The specialization quests now have the proper allowed executions for the recipes.
- Novice Introduction for crafting now provides the updated tools.
- Tursh now should give city and continental faction again.
- Recipe tool descriptions should be up to date
- Recipe trainers now pay attention to your specialization choice. You cannot learn higher level recipes outside of your specialization.
- Reduced the frequency of item decay
- Adjusted the price of repair
- Kojani Amateur Outfitter Quest recipes now have ingredient actions.
- The barbed board recipe for the Amateur Quest should now function properly.

DIPLOMACY
- Martok Diplomacy - The Martok diplomacy newbie line is ready for testing. Seek out Advisor Ma'ax in Veenax Garrison to begin your journey. Note this is a line for both Orcs and Goblins.

WORLD POPULATION
- The Village of Three Rivers: Help defend the quaint village from marauding Stonesmasher bugbears, brave the depths of Khegor's End, and begin unraveling the mystery of Fallen Star Lake as you adventure through the foothills of Widow's Veil Peaks. Target levels are 10 to 15.
- Renton Keep: Lorded over by the rogue Duke Marcus Renton, the Keep faces danger not only from a dangerous ant invasion, but also from a demanding despotic giant. Explore the tunnels of the Mound of the Zihurr, and brave the home of the giant himself, Tharridon's Scar. Targets players from levels 15 to 20.
- The following areas have been opened for play once more:
- Silverlake (Previously Forgotten Halls) - Discover the secrets of the Zar, and begin your understanding of the events that transpired at Trengal Keep. Target levels 18 to 22.
- The Deebs (where New Targonor used to be) - A quaint area to build your own home. Target levels 20 to 24.
- Coastal Graveyard - Further your investigations of the events that transpired at Trengal Keep, delve into the icy waters of the Northern Sea to do battle with Sirens and other foul aquatic beasts, and discover why there are so many lighthouses here... Target levels 21 to 25.
- The Ruins of Trengal Keep - This once powerful keep is now home to twisted and malevolent Gulgrethor orcs. Will you discover the true secrets of Trengal Keep? Target levels 22 to 30.
- Ocean Watch - A dangerous path from Tursh Village to the rest of the northern plains. What is out on that island? Target levels 15 to 20.
- Known Issues in the Northern Plains:
- Female Orc and Goblin NPC models in Trengal Keep occasionally appear with human hands or arms, this is fixed internally and will be pushed at a later date
- The name of the final "secret" boss in Trengal Keep will be changing in the next few weeks
- The Wolf Spider model does not currently tint correctly and appears two tone - this has been corrected internally
- Overland Population Density will receive additional tweaks based upon player feedback
- New Premiere Dungeon and level 15-25 Content:
- The chunks Hilsbury Manor and Shoreline Ruins are now reopened. They contain solo and group content starting from level 15 to early/mid twenties. Hilsbury Manor contains many quests and events that should support players well into their twenties. And as a final note: any players new to these areas should begin their exploration in the City of Misthaven itself, located in the very south of the chunk, north of Veskal's Exchange

GUI
- Fixed a bug causing the bank inventory window to have the wrong width.

we kunnen digitaal pre-orderen en beta client gebruiken (mits patch) bij release. Geen geknoei met die stomme pre-order boxen ,enkel retail, en toch 3 dagen eerder beginnen.

Er bestaat nog een kans dat het beta client hergebruik verhaal verandert maar hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet, en dat laten ze wel op tijd weten (hoop ik van harte)

Als het toch verandert dan maar retail, 17 gig downloaden doe ik geen 2 keer.

Het is 6.45 giga om precies te zijn en na je install heb je wel 17 (16.6 om precies te zijn) giga op je pctje maar je download maar 6.45!!

Met een turbo lijn van telenet kwam dat deze nacht nog op de helft, dus nog +- 3.25 giga , aan +-900 kb/sec, op twee uur en twintig minuten had ik gedowned, upgedated en was ik al aan het spelen!

Bwaa vroeger dacht ik dat ook altijd, todat je het beu word om doosjes uit te halen, weg te steken, stof af te doen enzenz, vind het toch makkelijker nu alles digitaal downloadbaar word, en goedkoper in de meeste gevallen.

tja Digitale versie iswel handig, maar ik verkies de Collectioner's Edition met een Stoffen map van Telon :p

ik vrees gewoon 1 ding en dat is met het playerhousing, doordat het niet instanced is, gaat er wel genoeg land zijn voor iedereen ? of is het gewoon zo dat je dan verder zult moeten vliegen/varen om uw huis te bereiken? :)

Hoe zijn jullie erin geraakt, de beta is toch America only?

Maar zeg een vraagje aan jullie: ik heb een geldige station account voor de vorige bèta's, kan ik daarmee ook die nieuwe , open beta spelen? Maw kan ik de client daarvan downloaden ipv via die ubertrage, giga's grote updatershit

Deze game doet mij denken aan ultima online.. can it be... the unofficial ultima online 2 ???

Als deze gameplay ook verslavend is... dan zou world of warcraft toch wel heel hard moeten beginnen oppassen. Ik wacht nog ff met die burning crusade.... Dat filmpje van die flying mounts... is uberindrukwekkend vgl met die in wow.
