Ze doelen echt wel op adult in de risquee komisch erotische zin niet zozeer op grimmig en dark. Dus zoals Merlin zei; eerder voor de fan fiction nostalgia fetisjisten want jawel Velma is redelijk populair in die kringen. 
Komt van de Adult Swim tak van HBO en die hebben al wel vaker in oude cartoons gegraven met vaak fantastische resultaten; Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law en Space Ghost Coast to Coast bijvoorbeeld. Dat zijn in feite oude hannah barbara cartoons die ze gereedit hebben, andere dubs erover, scenes toegevoegd en er zo volledig andere adult shows van gemaakt hebben. Superjail, Rick & Morty, Metalocalypse, The Eric Andre Show, Off the Air... Adult Swim is een baken van experimentele creativiteit dus dat dit een flauwe rehash wordt daar hoef je geen schrik voor te hebben.

Volledig akkoord. Er zitten altijd wel goede of grappige stukken in zijn films, maar waar al die lovende reacties vandaan komen is mij echt een mysterie.
