Herkenbaar. Wel ongelofelijk irritant om dan terug een scammer te horen die het niet wil opgeven.

Hier een Frans nummer dat mij opbelt. Tweede keer deze week. Blijkbaar niet de enige want op het werk hadden enkele collega's het ook voor.

Ik block/report ze elke keer.

Ja, het is wreed te laatste tijd.

We hebben hier in huis bovenop onze eigen nummers nog enkele extras waarvan ik zeker ben dat niemand die nummer heeft en ook die krijgen dat soort oproepen. Ze laten hun scamapparaat gewoon alle nummers af gaan zeker? Ik heb bij die dan maar alle onbekende nummers geblokkeerd. Voor mijzelf in Whatsapp ook, daar zijn al een aantal "interessante dames" gepasseerd.

Ik vond deze keer via googlen ook niets terug qua scamms maar als ze niets nalaten is het sowieso block.

Zou wel fijn zijn dat er plots zulke bedragen op de rekening komen te staan zonder daarvoor toegang te moeten geven tot je eigen rekeningen.
Sowieso draait dit uit naar een money mule scheme waar ze totale controle willen over je rekeningen om geld te moven.
Stel dat ze toch wat overschrijven, dan zou ik dat melden aan de politie en dat geld dan teruggeven aan een slachtoffer in de ketting...

Ja, o.a. Maar de finaliteit van deze is dat ze totale controle over je rekeningen willen om geld mee te moven.
Eerst je bestelen en je goed vast hebben in wurggreep, om dan de rekeningen echt te gebruiken voor andere scams. Er zijn al reportages over mensen die zelfs hun Itsme en eID geven of zelf rekeningen openen in eigen naam om te laten gebruiken door scammers die zo meer credibiliteit hebben met BE of Europese IBAN nrs. om nieuwe of grootschaligere scams uit te voeren.

De "voicemail van card stop" scam, klinkt qua stem helemaal zoals de menu's als je naar bepaalde banken belt - al een ander niveau dan "I'm a Nigerian prince".

Vermoedelijk verwachten ze dat mensen replyen op de lokaas mail éh. Mocht er een virus bijgevoegd zijn zou het hele bericht vaak al in spam terechtkomen, of helemaal niet afgeleverd worden.

Kreeg net een mail van de Vlaamse Zorgkas dat ik zogezegd de zorgpremie nog niet betaald heb. Ga ik kijken in m'n bankapp, zie ik dat ik die al betaald had in april. Ik meteen bellen naar die dienst, blijkt dat ze een "foutje" hadden gemaakt.
Alsof het al niet erg genoeg is dat er zoveel langdurig zieke profiteurs zijn, gaat de overheid je nog eens extra proberen scammen.
