During the Hundred Years’ War between France and Great Britain, many smaller wars and battles rise. In France, a Lord Baristan is struggling against his uncle, Lionel, in order to keep his territory secure. Lieutenant Gerard fights for Baristan, but after the injury of their commander, all hope seems lost.
A band of mercenaries called the “White Ravens” then appear to aid Baristan -- for a high price, of course. The mercenaries are led by the meticulous John Hawkwood, who is confident and excels in battle strategy. Just what kind of role does such a man play in this war…?
