en die trainingen zijn erin gezet om de noobs weg te houden van ranks waar ze niet goed genoeg voor zijn he. Al die dingen zijn makkelijk te doen als ge u es 5 min zou concentreren. Als dat al teveel is :wtf:

als ik singel players wil doen en ik wil wa met men wapens oefene, open ik een map maar ik kan niemeer bewege :s hebde gullie da ook of ben ik den eenigste ? btw: voor singel players te spele moete in u console ''start mapnaam'' typen (zonder quotes)

open bridge

ge hebt ook mappe die ni gewoon te opene zijn zoals headquarters raid bv. daar is het HQ_raid . ge kunt da zien in C:\Program Files\America's Army\Maps hoe ge da moet ingeve.

en voor te bewege duwt ge: mpcheat changeclass g (=203) zo hebt ge ook nog de sniper enzo... (=s)

ipv diene playerloch and changeclass en heel de boel is het simpler van gewoon open mapname en dan class g,r,ar,s,s25,mos,spr,v,d,ak,ak74su,m4,rpg,at4,... Ge kiest maar gewoon class en een van die intypen dus.

Ow en nog ff een kewl dingske vr sp te spelen met een beetje weerstand typ
"summon agp_characters.npc_soldier"
en typ daarna walk overal waar ge die soldiers dan ge zet heb krijgen die dan een ak met een clip en schieten die naar u (als ze u zien eh) das zo al een beetje basic ai code die erin steekt. en da is nu vooral tof om er een nade in te smijten en te kijken hoe die gastjes van de bridge afdonderen etc.

summon agp_characters.npc_doctor -> dan spawnt ge ne dokter, en as ge op em mikt en op use drukt dan achtervolgt ter u :woohoo: en as ge dan door ne e geraakt word, dan komt ter u healen :woohoo:
ge kunt ook 'god' typen, dan gaat ge nie dood door de kogels vd e

We changed this 'flash' effect to more closely resemble what happens in real life. This change was based off of feedback from some of the real Special Forces Soldiers that consult with us on a regular basis.

Topic: how to use torny mode?

Tournament Mode instructions are in 3 places in the new patch:

- The 'Tournament Mode Guide' located in the "Program Files>America's Army>Help" folder. This file is also accessible through the Windows START menu shortcuts.

- The updated 'America's Army Game Manual' located in the same place as the 'Tournament Mode Guide'.

- The README available in the "Support>Release Notes" section of the in-game user interface.

Topic: I HAVE A QUESTION A BOUT ADMINS FEATURES NOTHING IS WORKIN

Hmmm. We will look into this. But for now, try completely uninstalling and deleting the entire AA folder - then reinstall the game.

Also, to enable PunkBuster on your server you need to join the server logged in as a server administrator and use the following console commands (without the quotes): "admin pb_sv_enable" or "admin pb_sv_disable". Alternatively, edit the pbsvgame.cfg file in the "System/pb" folder and use "sv_punkbuster 1" or "sv_punkbuster 0" respectively. Again, if pbsvgame.cfg is edited or changed, the server instance must be restarted for the change to take effect. If pbsvgame.cfg has not yet been created, you can just create it with notepad and just put in this one line: "sv_punkbuster 1" (without the quotes) to enable PB on your server.

Topic: CANT select VSS and SPR even though qualified sniper.

In v2.1 we fixed an exploit that allowed anyone to simply 'open m24range.aao' in the console and qualify for sniper without actually having the required marksmanship score. The game servers now check your marksmanship score before letting you select the sniper class. This now eliminates all those players who used this exploit to get sniper qualified from selecting the sniper class.

Topic: GOAA Admins and leasers of Servers.

We are aware of the PB Admin problems and are currently working on a solution (server-side patch). We apologize for the inconveniences this has caused, please continue to be patient. We should have the fix in place very soon.

In v2.2 I think we should take out the rifles, I'm sick of all the bullet spammers!

In an ideal world, something we would like to see is making the grenade loadouts a server option. That way the spammers and the non-spammers can each have their cake and eat it too! [preemptive] However, this feature won't make it into v2.2 [/preemptive] - but possibly in a future release down the road.

Topic: Admin/PB functionality on Authorized and Leased servers

The server-side patch will be available to the public once we have verified everything is working as intended.
Projected date? Its somewhat frustrating that we can check it now for problems. Seems like thats a case of shutting the barn door after the horse is out.


It is fairly easy for SCI to revert to the earlier version across all their servers if we find major problems with this server-side patch. However, it is MUCH more difficult to recall a publically released server-side patch from the public.

Besides, from the looks of it (see posts above), this may not be our final version of this server-side patch. Please be patient, as we are working hard to fix these issues.

As you may have noticed, most of the weapons that have 3D ironsights are the newer weapons. We'd like to be re-do at least some of the older weapons to give them 3D ironsights (particulary the M16 and the M203), but I can't promise when it will happen.

Hey guys,

I am glad to hear that most of you have finally gotten v2.1. I am very curious to hear your feedback on the map SFVillage. I can actually get kills on it because I am one of those flanking players that loves CQB and was wondering if you guys were enjoying it or not. If not, I guess its back to the drawing board but dont worry...I am working on a new map that is going to blow you away. Be excited, be very excited =)
Thank you all for the feedback guys. My next map will be better than every map I have built before, except for River Basin (of course). It seems that v2.1 has been a success. I have heard of few problems and it seems like the community enjoys the new maps and likes the changes and additions we have made. Thank you for the encouraging thoughts, the critical feedback and most of all, your support. Regardless of what anyone may think, I have never enjoyed a job as much as this and I work hard to continue to build you, the community, the best maps I possibly can using this engine. I do not want to speak for the rest of the DevTeam as it is their place to speak for themselves of course, but I am honored to have been a part of this game for the last 3 years. The Army has treated me incredibly well and all of you guys in the community have shown your appreciation in many ways. The most obvious is the amount of time you spend on our servers. When I tell you my next map will be better than the last and any other preceeding that, it is not a boast or taunt. I am completely inspired to build more complex, interesting, realistic, optimized and fun maps everytime we release a patch and after this patch I am more inspired than I have ever been before. We have been holding on to SFVillage for so long that I was concerned about how it would be received. I am already working longer hours and have been dreaming about the gameplay of the next map I am working on. I want to thank you all for giving me the chance to do this for a living, it has truely been a dream come true and I enjoy nothing more in life. Thank you, truely. Thank you all. Topic: Bugs with Round Chambering

First off, it really wasn't worth the effort to have a weapon dropped on the ground still have 31 rounds in it. In a real game situation, there are very few times when you are going to throw your weapon on the ground and then just pick it right back up. Additionally, the guy that does pick your weapon up doesn't know you had an extra round in the chamber. Basically, this additional functionality was deemed unnecessary.

The M203 not having the chambered round was discovered by us but too late in the game to fix for 2.1. It will be fixed in the future.

If you reload on your first mag, then fire off all of your ammo except the last mag, the last mag will have 29 rounds


Topic: WHAT HAVE U DONE TO THE SNIPER

If you take more time and try out the new system with the M24, I think you will find it a vast improvement over the old system. With the old system, you could only move in super slow walk speed while the whole bolt charging animation played. Additionally, you were stuck in zoom mode as well. With the new system,you can you move quickly while the bolt is being charged rather than being stuck in super slow walk. Additionally, if you don't want to go back to zoom mode, just press your sprint key and move. This will cancel going back to zoomed. If you really are getting shot at and are wanting to get away, you should have been pressing sprint already

Topic: Autozoom/Walk on the sniper...really really really annoying

First off, its not the sniper scope coming back up has nothing to do with auto walk zoom. That is why disabling it has not effect. Second, the functionality of the M24 sniper rifle was changed as an improvement. Let me explain:

Old system - After you fired, you would be stuck in zoom mode, and stuck in super slow mode until the bolting animation was completely finished. When the bolt animation was completely finished, then you could move normally again. Lot's of poeple were unhappy with this system.

New system - After you fire, the weapon comes away from your eye while your working the bolt. During this time, you can NOW move at a normal or even fast walk where as before you were stuck in super slow mode. Additionally, if you press sprint while working the bolt, this will cancel the weapon coming completely back up to your eye, and you can get away quickly.

So essentially, no functionality whatsoever was lost with this change. It just seems different because the weapon now comes away from the eye. The bolting still takes the exact same amount of time, only now you can move while your working the bolt.

The main thing you need to do is remember to press your sprint key after you fire if you need to make a hasty exit.

Just to clarify:

"nades will PROBABLY be back soon"
"MAYBE a hospital SE..."

I don't want anyone to get their hopes up. HospitalSE DOES NOTexist at the moment and may never happen.

We'd prefer to keep frag grenades in Hospital, but the way they were being used in 2.0 (spam in a civilian populated area) was unrealistic and hindered the appropriate tactics to be used in this situation.

As always, the DEV team is continuing to work very hard to make AA even better and we're trying to get frags back into your hands. This might happen with some kind of "Hospital SE" or it might be something better. For now enjoy 2.1, village, arctic, and a spam free hospital... you never know what the next version of AA will bring

Preemptive Panic Control:

It's highly doubtful that the grenades themselves or how their used will change (i.e. throwing distance, random error, etc.) I personally feel the way nades are used in AA and the accuracy skill required (to hit an open window, for example) are the best in any game and it would be foolish to changes that to fix one or two maps.
