Netflix apps on non-computer devices (like game consoles, streaming devices, smartphones and tablets) are now hard coded to directly connect to some Netflix servers using IP addresses. The connection to these Netflix servers are used to check the user geo-location. Because the apps connect using IP instead of hostname, it is impossible to 'redirect' using Smart DNS. We are still working on a solution to try to fix this in combination with Static Routing configured on routers. So far, all tests were unsuccessful.
Option 1. If you are using smartphones and tablets that support VPN like iOS and Android devices, you can setup VPN on the devices directly.
Option 2. Use VPN-capable routers to bypass the restriction and route all your devices through the VPN tunnel.
Option 3. As an alternative if your router does not support VPN client, you can also try sharing the VPN on your computer.
Heb een HTPC in men living dus heb er geen problemen mee, maar dit was het antwoord van mijn VPN provider toen ik merkte dat netflix region switchen niet meer werkte op men ps4
