Hello Fellow modders,
Been doing pc building for a couple of years. Started with a small cpu soft tube loop in an antec 900 case. Since then i build several ones in a 570 x case. Reason for this case, is that is gives a lot of opportunities for custom loop builds. The negative side is that this case can be a pain in the *** for cable management if you have lots of components with wires.
However the case itself looks magnificent on its own. Next one will probably be a lian li case.
So where do I start. I've seen some couple of builds with a parallel loop going from cpu to gpu and back, however lots of ppl were concerned about the airflow and temps in that kind of loop. Out of curiosity, I wanted to try out a build with this kind of loop.
It is very important to sketch your loop, to see how the flow will work and to choose a good and strong pump for this. Also good clean bending lets you have a good flow rate. Bends that got too hot and are abrupted can cause a lower flow rate.
It took me about 30 hours of work, to get the bends and the build to work great. I had to do little adjustments to some bends and work with the pump cuz in the beginning the flow rate was too low and the cpu block couldn't fill it self up. However after these adjustments, the flow rate worked like a charm, filling up all the blocks and releasing all the air out of the loop.
Temps of the water:
- Idle between 20 and 25 - load between 30 and 35 All this depends on the room temperature, weather and fan speed.
Temps of the blocks: 1) CPU - idle between 20 and 25 - load between 40 and 45
2) GPU - idle between 20 and 25 - load between 30 and 35
As you can see these are really great temps.
So this concludes also that building a parallel loop does not disadvantage your flow rate and temps if you do it right.
The case also comes with adjustable led lights and hd 120 fans so every colour scheme is possible. Included are 2 60 cm cablemod dual led strips. With dual I mean, one side has rgb colours, the other side has UV lights. The coolant used is cfx opaque ghost white with a sky blue uv additive.
Adjusting your colourscheme will also light up the liquid.
