Van de studio achter What Remains of Edith Finch en The Unfinished Swan.

Our next game is still early in development but the focus is on exploring the wonders and horrors of biology. You play as a field biologist studying both mundane and fantastical urban wildlife.

We're drawing inspiration from places like Ico, Windosill, Spirited Away, and David Attenborough nature documentaries, along with the spirit of early animators like Winsor McCay and Walt Disney who used (for the time) cutting edge technology to build something that didn't feel technical at all but instead felt weirdly alive.

Our new game is about a field biologist interacting with urban wildlife so most of our prototypes focus on evoking a sense of life. We're trying to create gameplay that feels squishy, intimate, and strange. Like a scene where you're a worm crawling on a hand and player control switches back and forth between being the worm and being the hand.
Ultimately our goal is to create moments that feel mesmerizing and weirdly alive. More tangibly that means we're looking for you to help make our characters feel more fleshy, tactile, gooey, and gross.
Our goal is to create an experience of nature that evokes the profound strangeness of biological life. Although the game is inspired by real world biology we're targeting a more non-photorealistic style based on classic fairytales and scientific illustrations.
