Chelsea Football Club has issued the following statement in response to reports that we have made a world record transfer offer for Kaka.

'We have never made an offer to AC Milan for Kaka and therefore not one at this extraordinary level. As a consequence we have not discussed a salary with the player either. Any reports to the contrary are totally untrue.'

Perso Kakà, il Chelsea sarebbe pronto a follie per Pato. Stando a quanto riportato dal quotidiano britannico "Mail", i Blues avrebbero messo sul piatto della trattativa (che il Milan fin qui rifiuta) la bellezza di 45 milioni di sterline, circa 52 milioni di euro.

Nu zijn ze meer haalbaar he :p Er kan eventuele onrust zijn tussen jullie spelers, en dat wordt uitgebuit!

dat is geen vereiste nee, maar het kan een indicatie zijn.

Neem nu victor valdes, heel moeilijk is het voor hem niet om clubspeler te zijn: hij speelt bij Barça, krijgt altijd gemakkelijk een contractverlenging en staat altijd in de basis. Ik wil wel eens zien of Valdes ook zo trouw zou blijven moest hij een aanbieding van Chelsea krijgen waarbij zijn loon ver-3voudigd wordt, of wanneer Barça pakweg Buffon koopt en Valdes zijn basisplaats dus voor minstens 2 seizoen mag vergeten. Als hij dán blijft zonder zagen, is het een échte clubspeler voor mij.

Dat is wat ik wou zeggen, mss heb ik mij hiervoor slecht uitgedrukt.

Het enige positieve van deze zaak (als het allemaal waar is ofc): we kunnen shoppen met een jackpot van ong. 150 miljoen euro. Hoeveel kost Messi weer, Gavin?:unsure:

Clausule is of wordt opgetrokken naar 200 miljoen. Maar dan moet Messi nog naar Milan willen. :p

Liverpool have moved to beat Real Madrid to the signing of Valencia's David Silva with an offer of cash plus Andrei Voronin as manager Rafael Benitez begins his summer rebuilding plans.

The Reds are believed to have lodged a bid of €17.5 million (£15m) early in the window as they recognise that they could face stiff competition if they wait, according to The Daily Mirror.

Valencia know that they will have to sell certain players this year in order to help ease their financial plight and Liverpool have long been linked with Silva.

Both the 23-year-old forward and his team-mate, David Villa, have committed themselves to los Che, however, both have admitted that they could leave if the club make it clear they have to depart for financial reasons.

"Silva is high on Rafa's wish list and Valencia may have to sell as soon as possible because of their financial situation," a source close to Liverpool told Goal.com.

"Liverpool are said to have made an offer of £15 million along with striker [Andriy] Voronin.

"However, Real Madrid could also be looking at the midfielder.

"Silva has often expressed a preference to remain in Spain, but Liverpool scout Eduardo Marcia, who discovered Silva as a youth, could play an influential part in negotiations."

Benitez is overhauling his squad after missing out on the title by just two points to Manchester United and he sees Silva as the answer to his problems on the left.

Ryan Babel has flopped at Anfield and the club will use the cash from the Dutchman's sale to fund the move for Silva, although more may be required if Valencia do not want Voronin.

The Ukrainian forward joined Liverpool in 2007 but was unable to earn a regular place in the side and moved to Hertha Berlin on loan last term.

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi says Brazilian playmaker Kaka's future will be decided on Monday.

The 27-year-old Kaka has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in a £56m transfer deal following Florentino Perez's return as president.
