NITROUS
Like so many others I got involved in the music scene by going out. As I got to know the different genres in electronic music, drum & bass got my biggest appreciation. After a while I started to feel an itching, telling me to do something more with the music than to just listen to it. So some timeago I bought my first ten records. I stuck to these ten tracks for a couple of months ( just to see if I had it in me so to speak),practising everyday, before buying new ones. Not much has changed, still rinsin everyday, just out of love for the music.
When it comes to what style exactly it is i mix, there's not really an answer. I spin everything from oldskool jungle, drum&bass, to hardcore, breakcore and mashup,... I'm not into the whole labelling of genres. I just spin what i like to hear, and that's broken beatzz.
Favo producers : from Baron, dsf,Fresh,Pendulum to Remarc,Congo Natty,Dj Krome &Mr Time, Bizzy B, Soundmurderer,Jacky Murda, and offcourse the ruffer stuff with Panacea, Enduser,Shitmat,Hellfish, Aphasic, and so many more..
IMVAMEX
All my life I’ve listened to music. Ranging from classical music to grunge to early dance music, new beat, eighties, house, electro, hiphop, breaks, core, drum and bass. In 1997 I went to my first big music event called ‘I love Techno’ where I saw worlds best techno dj’s at work. Being from Leuven was a great advantage of getting in touch with the best sounds in the world. The weekly parties at Silo gave me a taste of the wide variety of styles and skills of the worlds finest dj’s. In the year 2000 I encountered an entire new sort of music: broken beats! Loving the distortion on some electro clashes, hearing the bpm of dnb music, I was instantaneously sold for life. I knew at that specific moment, that I wanted to spin broken beats. But to want something is one thing, to do it is something entirely different.
After a few years, Shangri and I put together 2 antique turntables and we borrowed a mixer. From then on we started buying records. After a while nitrous joined us and we mixed and mixed and mixed….
Now, 2005, I’ve been rinsing it for over a year, bought gear with nitrous and never stopped buying records. Changed styles a few times but what the hell it’s all broken beats! Had the chance to rinse alongside Nitrous at Volta in Amsterdam. And I know more gig’s will come!
Favo producers: dilinja, fresh, john b, tech itch, exile, capital j … and recently panacea, Venetian snares, shitmat,…
Favo labels: moving shadow, renegade hardware, mashit, planet mu, love, camouflage,…

His life was allready based on music since 1988.
He walked around with a walkman (offcourse with another musicstyle).
But there was a big evolution. . . 6 years ago he started to listen to electronic music.First there was house & stuff, but then he discovered techno & drum'n'bass !!He fell in love with those styles! Went to some local and bigger gigs in the area. He came in touch with interesting people and found his way to the turntables!!Started with techno ... but that wasn't his big passion. Drum'n'bass took the full attention of his mind and body. Now... few years later, he started to produce some tracks. With the help of Herbal-j he gets the tracks on a good clean sound level. 1 track is allready remixed by Qbit.
He shared the decks with great artists & producers like: Brekbit, Tribblz & Digitt, Wontime, Qbit alias marcas, MJ, vanman, C-creth, TwEeD, Noisy Volpex, Herbal-j, Dj gecko, Mad H, Ekselon, D-lux, dose, xz-32, ...

How it began.. well I've heard a cd (roni size) and I was directly into the whole thing of dnb.Next thing I did was looking for more shizzle, searching files on breakbeat.co.uk and so on, I couldn't hold back and started saving some money for equipment. Luckely there were peeps around me who also liked it a lot and now drum and bass is my passion and my life (says enough). I'm into it for like more then a year now, especially the dark shit, but also the liquid stuff. Me and a mate came op with the idea of starting a kru and so we did, what means that this isn't the last thing u'll hear from us!
