A heart for innovating music.
There is actually no other way to describe the passion and dedication of the Dynamic brothers. Inspired by their 6 year music education, twin brothers Davy en Ken developed the feeling for rhythm and later on, after getting in
touch with electronic music, for the beat.
It was in the late 90's at 16 years old, that the twins bought their first turntable equipment. Completely blown away with the sounds of the
Belgian club scene at that time, Ken en Davy started to experiment and feed their passion with the electronic music that was in their reach at that
time. Because they were brothers, more important twins, they just knew by heart what the other would play or like to play.
It was 2001 when they started to become fed up with the typical clubsound of Belgium. Quality sound with a stamp "made in Belgium" was hard to find, there was no innovating in the music. So the boys spread their wings and
searched abroad. With success! They found exactly what they needed.
Listening to the sounds of John Digweed, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo for the first time, Ken and Davy just knew that the next phase in their musical live has started.
After buying new material like: 'allen & heath xone 92', 'pioneer cdj-1000mk2' the Dynamic Brothers were equipped with the necessary tools to further develop and explore the broad spectrum of new sounds in this evolving style of music. Some call it progressive house, others dislike the word because it's too general. The most important thing is that it's innovating and good music, made for the next generation of clubbers. The ultimate expression of feelings and emotion!
The Dynamic brothers call their style a blend of mainly progressive house with influences from electro-house breakbeat and minimal. However, the boys embrace every good style of music. It's after all the vibe, the special
wave that they want to put in their work. For them it's important to
pass on the music they like, surprise the crowd and bring something different than the mainstream sound largely available in Belgium.
