Quite often I experience li'l skips when I'm dj'ing. A typical example can be found here:
Zippyshare.com - skippy.mp3
Around 18 & 20 sec you can hear the problem, it's a skip but the beats stay in time. First I thought it must be a buffering problem with my CD-players (2*Reloop RMP1's) but then I saw the buffer ratio was at its normal level when a skip occured, besides, this skip in the example happened during a mix so it happened to both songs at the same time.
So I thought, it must be my mixer then, which was quite possible since I was using a 2nd handed JBsystems mixer. But recently I got myself a new AH Xone:22 and yet the problem remains.
It's not a recording issue, the skipping occurs on my monitors & headphone as well, I doubt it's a burning issue, I burn at 4xspeed and used different brands of cds and they've worked flawlessly on other equipment. Could it be a wiring problem? I honestly have no idea how to solve this.
