Concept :

After an extremely wild party with the Boysnoize crew, we hope you will also be up for a wild New Year’s party! As usual Beats of Love will bring you the most contemporary electro sounds you can find … only, for this special occasion, in not less than 3 rooms so we can let everybody start a new year full of Love and filthy electro beats of course …

If you are up for this big New Year fest, get your tickets on time because the party has been sold out every time since the start three years ago. The exuberant atmosphere will be delivered by Belgium’s finest underground electro jocks as well as two international guests. They will all offer us a look into the electro scene of 2010 and give us a little preview of where we can expect the electro sound to go in the near future.

Does Duke Dumont even need an introduction? From the wonky techno backed proto-fidget of his debut ‘Regality’ EP to last year’s mesmerizing epic ‘Late of the Pier’ and Mystery Jet’s ‘Deconstructions’, Duke Dumont is one of, if not the most, exciting producer and DJ the UK has to offer at the moment. Duke Dumont is currently locked away producing his LP, due out next year. But venturing out of his studio for DJ bookings, just like this one …

Lee Mortimer is not only resident for Ministry of Sound, a leading brand in the UK and all over the world. He’s also a great producer with tracks and remixes on various labels such as CR2, Front Room Recordings, Odori, .. and more recently Dubsided. Next to that, he’s having huge success with his own Warehouse label of which the tracks are hailed by the biggest names around.

Main act in the third room is Compuphonic who, as usual, will bring a combination of a live act and a dj-set. After the great success of his releases on Dirty Dancing Records, his tracks made it to big international labels as Turbo and 20:20 Vision. He has now also launched his own label Union Match Music which is also the name of his weekly show on Pure FM.

Duke Dumont will be joined by Ed& Kim from Breakdown and Studio Brussels as well as resident Spacid and up and coming talents Soda ‘n Suds.

In the mean-while Luke Mortimer will get the company of Capt. Luke, better known as half of the famous Shameboy act as well as Mr. Magnetik who has been magnetising people with his releases on Dr. Lektroluv Records and Geht’s Noch who will bring their explosive mix of ‘90’s sounds with electro.

In the more intimate third room Compuphonic will share the stage with Cole from the Gang Bang Soundsystem who made it to the stages of Laundry Day, Culture Club and Petrol and Pete Howl from the ‘You Lucky Bitch’ parties in Decadance.

And as it’s New Years eve you can also expect some special treats as a lounge salon, champagne bar, disco lights & a very cosy atmosphere full of Love, to start the year with a bang!

Bah had graag SOS of Subs of Dr lektroluv himself gezien Maar ga waarschijnlijk wel hiernaartoe op oudejaar

ja want die zijn zoveel beter dan Lee Mortimer & Duke natuurlijk...
tis al erg genoeg dat SoS hun misbaksel al overal komt brengen.
En de Subs & Lektroluv staan ookal op elke hoek van de straat, dus laat maar zo

Het is hier wel zwaar SoS gehaat man. Hebben jullie ze gezien op ILT? Ze waren bij de beste van de avond en ik ben zéker niet de enigste die daar zo over denkt.

Elke NYE-editie van Beats of Love is steeds uitverkocht de voorbije jaren, dus reken maar op een goed sfeertje!

Vorig jaar was't alleszinds vet feestje.

khoop wel dat ze eindelijk is na zoveel jaren hun vestiare problematiek is gaan aanpassen

Idd, ma gaat dan naar Groove city of Café D'anvers als ze nog eens Joris Voorn ofzo programmeren

Damn, wou graag Duke Dumont nog eens zien, maar 'k heb natuurlijk weer veel te vroeg examens... Spijtig, want vorige keer dat ik 'm gezien heb was het voor een publiek van een man of 50 en toen vond ik het al de max. Op dit evenement zal er sowieso veel volk zijn, geeft toch altijd nog een 'boost'.

Tenzij ze natuurlijk tegelijkertijd iets als Sound of Stereo programmeren... Ik heb die één keer gehoord, en dat was echt saai. En dan niet (alleen) om het genre dat ze draaien. Gewoon totaal geen lijn in hun set, alsof ze hetzelfde nummer bleven draaien. Don't believe the hype

We did warn you … as in the previous years, Beats of Love on New Years Eve is sold out again. We’re sorry for those who can’t make it but do wish everybody an electrifying 2010! For those who have their tickets, we will see you shaking and celebrating on one of the three dance-floors. Anyone who celebrated New Year's Eve at Beats of Love can tell you that we
started 2010 with a bang! Every shade of electro was being pumped into your
brains, preparing you for a new year of pounding electro madness! Ed & Kim
bombarded the crowd with hard rave sounds while Duke Dumont clearly showed
what he's made of. Spacid spun a more eclectic groove electro making all the
hands go up in the air and Soda & Suds finished everyone off with a blast.
In room 2, Capt. Luke played a rough and grinding set while Mr. Magnetic
represented Dr. Lektroluv's label and put the room on fire. Lee Mortimer,
Ministry of Sound resident, treated us with fat electro basslines,
dubstep-influenced and fidget house beats. Geht's Noch made a great
performance and left us wanting for more. Room 3 was very intimate but with
an exhilarating atmosphere. Acts like Compuphonic, Pete Howl and Cole
brought the crowd from one peak to another, a great trip into progressive
electro. If you weren't there, you missed it!
