Het archief is een bevroren moment uit een vorige versie van dit forum, met andere regels en andere bazen. Deze posts weerspiegelen op geen enkele manier onze huidige ideeën, waarden of wereldbeelden en zijn op sommige plaatsen gecensureerd wegens ontoelaatbaar. Veel zijn in een andere tijdsgeest gemaakt, al dan niet ironisch - zoals in het ironische subforum Off-Topic - en zouden op dit moment niet meer gepost (mogen) worden. Toch bieden we dit archief nog graag aan als informatiedatabank en naslagwerk. Lees er hier meer over of start een gesprek met anderen.

Gisteren weer coöp Mercs 2 gespeeld en daarna nog wat singleplayer. 100 puntjes in totaal. Moet wel zeggen: was hilarisch xD
Ik ben eerst wat in SP bezig, kwestie van mijn coöp partner wat in te halen. Geniale savesysteem van Mercs 2 (als ge het zo moogt noemen, is gewoon buggy as fuck) stelt namelijk dat alles wat ge in coöp speelt enkel telt voor de save van de host. De coöp partner kan ook geld verdienen, maar dat is het dan ook wel. Verder is de host player voor alles verantwoordelijk: controleren van de map, ergens binnengaan, ... partner is precies een gehandicapt kind, ge kunt gewoon niks zo
Anyway, ik ben dus bezig met een singleplayer mission (race met de Cacharro del Muerte aan 't begin voor de spelers)

Ten eerste: waarom zijn die belachelijk simpele coöp achievements 50 punten en ten tweede: er kwam helemaal geen airstrike aan te pas, DEN ANDERE had gewoon een resource pick-up aangevraagd xD... whatever. Na nog een tijdje glitches en andere frustraties in coöp deze twee nog op mijn eigen:

Ik zeg het, Mercs 2: 't is een geval apart. Ik speel al jaren GTA en heb Saint's Row (de eerste) echt helemaal binnenstebuiten gekeerd dus ik ken mijn glitches in sandbox games, maar manmanman, zo erg heb ik het nog nooit gezien. Game is wel pokkefun though, als hij eens deftig wil werken

Dat zijn compleet belachelijke achievements die boosten onder vrienden (en dus eigenlijk cheaten) in de hand werken. Neem nu Soulcalibur IV als voorbeeld: daar krijg je een achievement voor het bereiken van lvl 20 in ranked online battles. Da's allemaal leuk en aardig, maar je kunt bewust filteren zodat je enkel tegen noobs vecht van lvl 1 of 2 en dan blijkt ook nog eens dat je daar zo goed als evenveel punten voor krijgt als na een slopend gevecht met iemand van lvl 43 :/Pestilence- zei:Naruto The Broken Bond:

Wat is de logica daarin misschien? Online achievements zuigen 99% van de tijd en dan vooral in fighting games.

Pff, man, 't is hier in België duidelijk nog niet zo erg gesteld met achievement whoring als over de plas. Amerikaan die mij toevoegde en vroeg om hulp bij SCIV (via xbox360achievements.org) wou gewoon puur en sec achievements boosten en die had nog niet eens één secret char unlocked :/
