PS4 krijgt ook in de UK een prijsdaling, al kostte hij nu eigenlijk al minder dan de adviesprijs.

Sony announced this week that it will be dropping the price of the PlayStation 4 in Japan and much of Asia next month, and it looks like the strategy will extend to the UK as well. While the platform holder's being a little more subtle about things on these shores, Eurogamer.net received confirmation from SCEE that two Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection bundles will hit these shores on 9th October – and the 500GB option will retail for £299.99.

This is important because the RRP of the console has remained at £349.99 since launch, save for the odd weekend promotion here and there. It's worth noting that the 1TB version of the abovementioned bundle will sell for the slightly more expensive £329.99, but this is, once again, lower than the machine's original mark-up price. Both bundles will utilise the lighter, less power hungry CUH-1200 hardware model, which has lowered manufacturing costs.

Rumour: BioShock Collection Steps into PS4's Bathysphere - Push Square

We've chalked this up as a rumour for now, but you can send us to Rapture if it doesn't eventually happen. South African retailer Raru – we know, we know – has listed The BioShock Collection for release on the PlayStation 4. There's no original artwork so the retailer could just be acting presumptuously, but this series is surely too popular to avoid remaster fever.

The date for the compilation is listed as 27th November, which is a Friday – a day when new titles tend to deploy in the nation. The retailer also has a bit of track record for leaking unannounced projects, so take that as you will. If real, we suspect that the set will boast all three PlayStation 3 entries of the philosophical first-person franchise. Would you be willing to wield your wrench all over again, though? Honestly, we would.
