Pro Cycling Manager 2011, discover all the new features!
After last year's major overhaul of 3D decors, "Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011" moves onto the race protagonists themselves : the riders. The 3D rider models are now a true reflection of actual height and weight, giving an enormous range of rider builds. Bike geometries have, in turn, been adapted to these new rider physiques so a wide variety of frames and wheels are thus displayed. The result is an ever more true-to-life 3D race experience.
The more life-like appearance of riders is mirrored by more life-like behaviour, brought about by improvements to the game AI and race physics. Riders can no longer pass through opponents, meaning that they must seek a true avoidance path to get past those who are to the side or to the front. The race for the climber's jersey has also been made more meaningful, with only serious contenders competing for it; a rider who's objective is the overall leader's jersey will no longer waste effort in order to earn a few climber points. The final kilometres of a race have also been reworked so that sprint AI more accurately reflects the cut and thrust of the high tempo lead-out trains. Races have therefore become more compelling, but they have also become more pleasing to the eye as the number of different 3D route files has been increased by 65%. This provides a far greater variety of race decors, meaning that more races are run within their true landscape.
The management section of "Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011" has also received a new decor thanks to an updated interface. Inside this new management GUI the player will have greater interaction with his team's sponsors. This will enhance his role, but it will also bring greater pressure for results. It's all part of a day's work in "Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011"; work which can be more easily shared with other players thanks to the full integration of the multiplayer client inside the game.
