Part 1: Find the "One Ring". Meaning, the first ring you find on your journey, is the One Ring. You also cannot equip it. Wouldn't want to be corrupted by the Warcraft version of Sauron.
Part 2: Destroy the One Ring. Once you have it, your next job will to be to go to the suspended island in the middle of Blackrock Mountain, and destroy the ring. This challenge is not about leveling, it is about how fast you can get and destroy the ring. It isn't over after the first time either. Continue to go out into the world, find rings and destroy them.
Rule 1: Like the Iron Man Challenge (Or any other challenge for that matter.), you cannot die. If you do, wave bye bye to your character.
Rule 2: No mounts, dungeons, potions, primary professions (Fishing, cooking, and first aid are allowed.), pet battles, buffs, grouping up, guilds, auction house, heirlooms, or talents.
Rule 3: Can't change out of your starting clothes. And you can't equip shoulderpads, trinkets, or anything like that. But you can equip new weapons, but only if they're white or gray or green.
Now, if you think the third rule is a bit rough, you're in luck. The different races and classes you can play as each have their own perks that can bypass that rule in one way or another.
Races:
Human: You can play as a warrior or a mage.
You may put on the first necklace you find via quest or a mob drop.
Gnome: You can only play as a warrior.
You may wear the One Ring.
Dwarf: You can only play as a warrior.
You may equip the first blue headpiece you find via mob drop or quest.
Blood Elf: You may play as a hunter, but you cannot have a pet.
You may equip the first blue, ranged weapon you find via mob drop or quest.
Classes:
Warrior: You can completely bypass rule three, except you can only equip gear that is white or gray.
Mage: You can equip any color of robe, except that the robe's cosmetic design has to be mostly white. And if your specialization is frost, you cannot have your water elemental.
Hunter: You can use potions.
Have fun trying to not die, and I'll meet you all at Blackrock Mountain!
