First you need Counter-Strike
If you have steam, you want to save the .dem file to:

If you only have 1.5, save it to:

ierraHalf-LifeCounter-Strikecstr ike
Okay, after you've saved it to the cstrike folder...
Open counter strike and launch the console (by pressing the ~ button, below esc)
In console, type: playdemo cnote.dem
