GameBIZ is a magazine that hails from New Zealand, and they have put an interesting 2 page article in their newest issue. The title of the preview was named “A Trip to San Andreas” and it contained much info, and 1 new screen.
A lot of the article mentioned information related to the eating process, and food. Along with “Burger Shot”, “Well Stacked Pizza”, and “Cluckin’ Bell”, you can now expect to see “Beef Bandit”, “Shaft Hotdogs”, and “Tacocalypse.” If you remember the place named “Tarbrush Café”, you can also expect to see that make a return, and it is now possible to purchase coffee there.
Beef Bandit and Shaft Hotdogs are both hot-dog selling places, and they are in a war. Players as CJ get to decide which one to keep in business, and which one to take out. To do this, CJ can promote them, sell their hotdogs, and destroy the rival stands. GameBIZ also said that a run-down taco outlet is in the game.
Along with places to eat, their was also information on places to shop. The store GASH from Vice City is back, but they do not sell shoes. In Vice City, the only time players had the option to get new clothes was when directed so in missions. However, in San Andreas, players now have the choice to go and get new clothes whenever they feel the need to. There is also apparently places to shop for food. In Los Santos, there is a supermarket entitled “El Nuevo O'' Supermarket” where players can go. In that supermarket, there is a freezer with a surprise in it. The new A.I. was also demonstrated inside the supermarket, as peds were looking for their own groceries and getting in lines to check out. Outside of this market, there is a slushy stand owned by Asians. Here, you have the choice of getting a Frosty, Mushy, or a Thrush.
Some of the other info was just little tidbits of this and that. Steve Scott is said to have made the game, and has hit it big time. GameBIZ also stated that “Vinewood” is the home to the rich, famous, and troubled. Other than that, the only other thing is that the company “Grandparents Forever” is going to be a sequel to the company “Petstuffers.”
