SPOnG can finally confirm the date by which the world will be relieved of the constant burden of wondering about what Nintendos Revolution controller actually is.
Youll be pleased to know that a full explanation of Revolution will be made by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata during his Tokyo Game Show keynote address. This news represents completely finalised Nintendo plans Iwata will fully outline The Secret on 16th September 2005.
Nintendo is assembling key media to attend this years show, due to take place between 16th 18th September 2005. Iwata will make his presentation of current activities at Nintendo. He will outline current projects and will then - unveil the Revolution in all its glory.
The Revolution presentation will include an explicit outline of the hardware and its controller and input mechanic, as well as illustrate exactly how it will work. It will go on to show games running on the system and how they make use of the technology.
Mario 128, or New Mario as it is dubbed internally at Nintendo, is expected to be the star of the show.
SPOnG has a record of perfectly outlining what Iwatas keynote addresses will entail. And we can tell you with 100% certainty that in the next three and a bit weeks, well all be looking at Nintendo Revolution controller hardware and accompanying games. Exciting times indeed.

iwata gaat spreken, da is 100% zekerGamer 01 zei:Oh man, dat klinkt goed.Maar ik zou het nogal vreemd vinden aangezien Nintendo toch geen stand heeft op de beurs? Ik denk dat het maar de zoveelste roddel en we dus niks van Revolution zullen zien. En het komt dan nog van Spong dus.....bogus imo.
de vraag is uiteraard wel of het over de revolution zal gaan, maar aangezien ze voor de rest alles al getoond hebben lijkt mij da toch waarschijnlijk

What we heard: Adopting its typical--and not always unwarranted--self-congratulatory tone, SPOnG this week trumpeted the fact that it had learned exactly when the Revolution and its vaunted controller would be revealed. However, its assertion that the deed will be done at TGS next month wasn't quite as surprising as the site made it out to be. Rumors to the same effect have been swirling ever since Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced he would be delivering a keynote at the event. SPOnG's "exclusive" echoed that speculation, saying that Iwata will offer "an explicit outline of the [Revolution] hardware and its controller and input mechanic" and will "illustrate exactly how it will work." The site says executives will also show off several games on the console, including the title popularly referred to as "Mario 128." Indeed, TGS seems like an opportune time to finally take the wraps off the Revolution, which is supposed to launch sometime next year. It would also make sense strategically, as Microsoft is planning a pre-TGS conference where it is expected to reveal the Xbox 360's price, and Sony says the PlayStation 3 will be present in some form at the event. Iwata's very presence is also noteworthy. Although he addressed TGS two years ago, his company traditionally eschews the event altogether, meaning he likely has a special reason for turning up.
