Though you may not read this, I'll post anyway.
It's been said that you don't come on the web anymore due to frustration with Locke. It's a pity because no matter what direction the writers send him in, it's your direction that makes it fascinating and addicting to watch. You have a strong, loyal fan base, and we'll stick with you to the end come rain or shine. Locke may lose faith in the island, I just hope you don't lose faith in Locke. It's obvious you care a lot and that alone makes the character feel very real. In the past, I've read that there are some strong similarities between you and Locke and maybe that's why it feels frustrating. Because this season, a different side of him is being explored, a side that may deviate from what your natural instincts for him would be.

As far as last night's episode, Lockdown, I found it very interesting and intense. It made me sick to see Locke get hurt. Especially due to the irony of the situation. I was relieved to see him stand up before it ended. I was also intrigued by the parallels between Locke's flashback and the present. For example, the anger that his father displayed to him in previous episodes. Locke was in a way treating "Henry Gale" the way his father treated him.(with anger) And when it came time that his father needed help,(the money) he had to humble himself and ask. Just like when Locke was trapped under the door. He had to enlist Henry's help. Another parallel was when he lied directly to Helen. Henry boldly lied to Locke's face when asked who he really was. It almost goes to show that what goes around comes around. It was a very thought provoking episode.

I should clarify: My frustration was as much for Locke........as Locke......as it was with Locke. I was also frustrated by my inability to keep up with the web site.........and in all honesty, I was tired of seeing a lot of the same questions time after time.
Most importantly, though, I want to do a good job on the show.........for people like you and my other friends on the 'lage, and if I feel that if anything is distracting me from that goal in any way, I'll take whatever steps I can to remove that distraction. A lot of people had expressed opinions comparing this year's Locke with last year's, just as I was doing, and I found that their frustration, coupled with my own, was taking me too far outside my work.........as I see it. The writers have taken John Locke; and me with him, to a different place this season; shaken his self assurance and his faith...............and this is good for me as an actor. So if fans of the show..........or of the character.........are questioning where he's going, or doubting him, or whatever, well, that's good too. But I mustn't let their questions or opinions affect how I do my job, and if that means I simply can't listen for awhile, then I won't.
But I think of you all often and hope to remain
