Dit is eigenlijk het enige dat me oorspronkelijk ook wel wat stoorde. Ik kon alleen maar speculeren over het waarom van zijn actie.
Tarantino zei in een interview het volgende hierover:
I do actually like the fact that he loses it there. So she is this poster girl for the German soldier: the darling, the sweetheart of the Third Reich film industry. To find out she's been lying to them all along just makes them go nuts!
