Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding adding your Maestro Card.
Regrettably the issue with the Maestro card is that the verification process has a minor bug in it. So when you add a Maestro card the system isn't creating the unique code for it to confirm it on the PayPal website.
The only way now is to manually confirm the Maestro card. But unfortunately we can't manually confirm the card unless we have some documentation that you own the card.
Could you please provide us with the following documentation:
1. Proof of ID
2. Credit Card statement
You can upload your documents though our ‘Name change’ section. Although we understand you do not wish to change the name on your account, this is the quickest option to upload your documents:
Go to www.paypal.be/naamwijzigen.
Log into your PayPal account.
Select ‘Personal Name Change (incorrect at signup or minor name change).
Click ‘Continue’.
Select ‘No’ and click ‘Continue’.
Click ‘Upload files’.
After you uploaded the files, you can email us to inform that you have provided the documents. You can contact us via the ‘Contact us’ link at the bottom of a PayPal page.
