Ongelooflijk hoe snel mensen dan tot conclusies springen, fijn als dat uw kinderen zijn en ge moet zo een dingen horen.

Filmpjes posten van achter het stuur, na het uitgaan om 6u in de auto kruipen en veel te snel rijden in een dichtbevolkte buurt, controle verliezen (waarbij hij nog een heel stuk fietspad meepakte) ... Die bestuurder was verantwoordelijk voor het ongeval en duidelijk een gevaar op de weg, drugs of niet.

Mijn vader had een tijdje terug Efteling giftcards gekregen van vrienden. 7 giftcards in een envelop van cadeaukaart.nl. Op die envelop hadden de vrienden dan hun naam geschreven en het saldo van die cards.

Mijn vader, ik en 2 kindjes daarmee naar Efteling. Ik kom aan de kassa en die mevrouw : “Ah, die kaarten zijn nog niet geactiveerd. U moet hiermee naar het kantoor.”. Allez hup, ik een eindje verder een kantoortje binnen, half uur wachten, dan is’t mijn beurt. Dame daar : “Ja, die kaartjes zijn niet geactiveerd. Van welke maatschappij hebt u ze gekocht?” Ik : niet gekocht, gekregen van vrienden, het zijn giftcards é, maar ze komen van cadeaukaart.nl. Die dame van het kantoor : “ok, dan zal ik ze voor u trachten te activeren, volgt u mij naar de pc.” Zij logt in naar de site van cadeaukaart.nl en daar bovenaan staat ‘Cadeaukaart activeren’. “Ahh sorry hoor, maar dat activeren duurt 1 werkdag, u zal met die giftcards moeten terugkomen”. Ik antwoord : er staat nergens op die giftcards of op die envelop iets op van activatie vereist. Dat zou toch moeten…. Zou dan blijkbaar die externe partner zijn verantwoordelijkheid zijn.

Ok, dan maar uit eigen zak betaald en na het bezoek aan de Efteling terug thuis een mail gestuurd naar cadeaukaart.nl. Wat een klotesysteem ook zeg, ge moet een blanco e-mail sturen met daarop al je giftcard nummers (in mijn geval dus 7 cards). Reactie na 1 dag : “Beste, bedankt voor uw bericht. Wij kunnen uw kaartnummers helaas niet terugvinden in ons systeem. Kunt u controleren of de nummers correct zijn? En heeft u een ordernummer voor ons?”. Ik vanmorgen een mail terug met foto’s van de giftcards, foto van hun envelop en dan nog een bijhorende tekst dat ik hun systeem een ****systeem vind. Wacht nog op antwoord …

Plezante cadeau tot nu toe. Al de 2de keer dat ik problemen heb met kadobons. Vorige bon was bij de geboorte van mijn oudste zoon voor een professionele shoot. Firma was dan natuurlijk bankroet gegaan toen ik wou boeken een half jaartje na de geboorte.

Niet in waarmee hij dreigt, maar toch hoe hij een of ander oud wachtwoord dat ik 10j geleden soms gebruikte heeft..

Geen idee hoe hij aan mijn filmpje geraakt want mijn webcam is afgeplakt ;-)

Paar jaar terug gehad met de actie van de Disney sticker bij Carrefour. Volle boek = 1 ticket kopen +1 ticket gratis. (actie loopt nu weer)

2 boeken vol, dus 2 tickets betaald in de Carrefour en 2 ticketjes gekregen met code om te scannen aan de ingang om dan de echte tickets te krijgen.
Vroeg nog of die ene code genoeg was om 2 tickets te krijgen.
"jaja, dat is geen probleem"

Natuurlijk kwam er bij elke code, maar 1 ticket uit.
Dan sta je daar met 2 kinderen.

Dus ter plaatste 2 tickets gekocht en met rekeningske naar de Carrefour gegaan.
Wel netjes terugbetaald gekregen.

Was een fout van de kassierster (vakantiejob).
En we waren niet de enige.

Genoeg dumps van databases te vinden online waar ze hebben ingebroken met de hele santenboetiek. En waarschijnlijk is dat gewoon een bot die naar elke mail in die lijst gemailed heeft inclusief het wachtwoord. Gewoon verwijderen en negeren.

Heb ook hetzelfde een 2-tal weken terug ontvangen. Ook met een wachtwoord dat ik vroeger eens had gebruikt. Heb het gewoon genegeerd en nog steeds niks ontvangen als 2e "dreigement".

Ik krijg die e-mails ook al minstens een maand of 2. Het wachtwoord gebruik ik ook al jaren niet meer (gebruik al een tijdje de ingebouwde wachtwoordmanager van Apple). Wanneer ik m'n e-mail adres ingeef op https://haveibeenpwned.com zie ik inderdaad 2 breaches in 2012 (Last.fm en Dropbox).

Ik negeer ze ook, ze komen recht in de spam terecht en had de eerste 20 e-mails ofzo pas na een maand gezien. Bij mij gaan de e-mails als volgt:

Titel: Save Yourself

E-mail: Hi, I know one of your passwords is: *knipje* - but not only that!

Your computer was infected with my private malware, because your browser wasn't updated / patched, in such case it's enough to just visit some website where my iframe is placed to get automatically infected, if you want to find out more - Google: "Drive-by exploit".
