as mentioned earlier, our cityconnect area will be extended to antwerp, ghent, lier, mechelen, hasselt, berchem and ostend as of 01/07/2008.
at that time, some changes and new speed-options for netconnect and homeconnect will come into effect:
- all new and existing homeconnect-accounts will be upgraded to 9.0 mbit/sec downloadspeed, free of charge. The download-transfer for homeconnect-accounts will also be increased to 200 gb per month instead of the current 100 gb.
- 2 new speed-options will be made available for netconnect-lite and netconnect-accounts:
a/ "netconnect (lite) speedpack 9mb": increase your downloadspeed to 9.0 mbit/sec
b/ "netconnect (lite) speedpack 12mb": increase your downloadspeed to 12.0 mbit/sec
- 1 speed-option will be available for netconnect plus:
a/ "netconnect plus speedpack 12mb": increase your downloadspeed to 12.0 mbit/sec
it will be possible to order these new packs and options through the i-link in your controlpanel as of 01/07/2008. at this moment, no exact indication as to where these new speed-options will be available, can be given. the packs should be available for at approximately 85% of the belgian territory. once this information will be available, you can check this under the i-link in your controlpanel.
there is no further information available at our helpdesk! all information that we will have concerning these options (rates, availability, ...) will be made available in due time through our website, this news section or in your control panel!.
all speedpacks are based on the adsl2+ technology so a new modem/router should not be necessary, if you have bought yours recently. please contact your modem vendor to check if your model supports adsl2+.
following our intensive collaboration and testing with "siemens home and office communications" we advise our customers to purchase the "siemens gigaset sx762" as their new modem/router in case their existing one does not support adsl2+.

de bestelling van deze packs zal u kunnen uitvoeren via de i-link in uw controlpanel vanaf 01/07/2008. op dit moment is er geen zicht op de locaties waar precies deze snelheidsopties zullen beschikbaar zijn. dit zal ongeveer zijn voor 85% van het belgische grondgebied. eenmaal deze informatie beschikbaar is, kan u dit terugvinden onder de i-link in uw controlepaneel.
er is hierover geen verdere informatie ter beschikking via onze helpdes! alle informatie die we over deze opties hebben (prijzen, beschikbaarheid, ...) zal zo snel mogelijk worden gecommuniceerd via onze website, deze nieuws-sectie en in uw controlepaneel!.
alle speedpacks zijn gebaseerd op de adsl2+ technologie. een nieuwe modem/router is dus in principe niet nodig, indien u uw huidige nog vrij recent hebt aangeschaft. contacteer uw modemfabrikant om te verifieren of uw huidig model adsl2+ ondersteunt.
