Link: www.live.comNow besides the fact of having a great name, Microsoft's Live Homepage (and other services soon to come) will surely capture an insane amount of Microsoft based users. Having the ability to integrate RSS feeds, your Hotmail account, Windows Live Safety Center, Windows Live Favorites, Windows Live Messenger and a whole lot more into a start page, they are sure to attract another user base. Right now, when I open up my Firefox, my startpage is no longer google.com/ig; instead, it's two pages: google.com/ig and live.com.
The only question I ask myself now is: 'Too little too late?".
With Google dominating the search engine market with an algorithm that gets SEO (search engine optimization) experts nautious, will they be the final choice of end users? Or will Microsofts's attempt to "get back in the game" be the downfall of Google?
