Archief - Laptop Freezes while gaming..

Hello everyone,

first of all Id like to thank yall for reading my topic..

Im playing Cod4...before i start my game theres no problem.... everything is running smooth... but when i start to play after 5-10 min. my laptop freezes and it makes an annoyin sound like "BRRRZZZZTTTTTTTTTTTTTT" not really like this but just to give you guys an idea

Specs: HP pavilion dv7-4080sb
6GB ram
i5 core
win7 64 bit
HD 5650

ive allready formatted my laptop and tried again... still the same problem.... ive scanned my laptop with Avast Internet security.. there wasnt anything

so ... why the ... is it freezin

(btw im gettin ingame stable 125 fps..)

It sounds like the fan that is going to the max,which means the gpu (maybe cpu?) gets to hot.You should try cleaning the inside of the laptop.

Take all of the covers off and take a can off office duster (air in a spraycan) and a brush and clean it up.

+ its running smooth.. i "cant" even hear the fan.. its runnin smoothly
