On 31-12-2012 the year 2012 goes in Error. We're leaving another year behind, in the right setting and atmosphere, and more importantly with the right music.

To create this perfect setting the makers of Kozzmozz, Peep, Area 51, Suburb Soundz and Elements festival are joining forces. They will present you three rooms fitted with mind-blowing sound and mind-expanding light- and visual effects at the Galveston and Artcube buildings on the Wiedauwkaai.

The first room is the techno room and will provide quality techno, the kind of techno which is usually served on top events as Kozzmozz and Area 51. Headliners are the techno wizard Speedy J from Holland who’s going strong with his Electric Deluxe label and Cari Lekebusch from the Swedish techno front who tore up the Kozzmozz dance-floor so well, we just had to get him back! These international slammers, will be joined by Kozzmozz residents Kr!z and Spacid and Area 51 residents Voxter & Balance. A New Year’s night filled with only the best underground techno around, let the party start!

Peep hosts the house room where Cassy is spearheading the line-up. She has worked in the studio with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Steve Bug and more and is now an intrinsic part of the Cocoon family. She’s joined by lots of Belgian talent starting with Ramon Tapia who’s now playing all over the globe after several dance-floors hits on numerous labels. Next up is Dimitri Andreas who also has lots of productions to his name. It all started at Music Man and spread to labels as Systematic, Yoshitoshi and many more. Psytox runs his own label Coincidence Records and can not only count on great international respect but has also been hosting the labels own stage at Tomorrowland for 3 years now. Last but not least, upcoming talent Die Clique from Feestgedruis fame completes the house floor. Upfront house and tech house beats with sometimes a minimal twist that will keep you moving all night long, is what you can expect here!

If you like to go even deeper then the deep house room awaits your visit. The unspoken king of house in Belgium, Red D from We Play House Recordings is top of the bill and shares the decks with more great local talent as Leesa who a.o. opened the M-nus night at 10daysoff and produces very successful releases for Atmosphere Records. Or Deejames who livens up any party, be it before or after the turntables. The way he has been doing just that at clubs as Decadance for many years. And also No Shit Like Deep are creating quite a buzz in the Ghent nightlife lately. Especially for this occasion they are teaming up with Jean Jack from What’s Cooking. Shake your hips, let it all loose and dream away on the beautiful and sexy melodies in the house room.

As you can see, only the best in three different genres so there’s something for everybody’s taste and different tastes for those who like many genres. And as you probably know the organizers, you know you can expect a top notch production with all the extra’s that one should expect on such a special night!

Geweest, 't viel wel mee. Grootste deel van de avond in de techno-room gezeten. Paar keer naar de house en deep house geweest maar was daar telkens snel terug buiten
Lang geleden dat ik nog es was uit geweest op nieuwjaar.
Maar het jaar is goed ingezet

Iets voor 00:00 gearriveerd. 05:30 huiswaarts gereden omdat mijn voeten naar de kloten gedanst waren en we nog een rit van een klein anderhalf uur voor de boeg hadden.

Vond het zeker geslaagd. Heb enkel in de techno room gestaan. Speedy J en Cari Lekebusch waren awesome. Alleen is, en blijft zo'n massa volk niks voor mij. Wel ongelofelijk veel knappe grieten, miljaar.

Enige minpunt: die wc's... Gelukkig was ik bob en moest ik daar dus niet te vaak zijn.

Rond 23u30 geweest ik was bob.

Ergenis int begin waren kindjes die stoer deden met drugs en super losbandig stonden te dansen als halve garige.
Dan waren de meeste nog allemaal gekleurd met zo'n neo stift ofzo.

Rond 1u begon het feestje toch goed los te barsten in de techno zaal, Speedy J en Cari Lekebusch waren te super damn!
Ik en mijn maten ons toch ferm kapot gedanst, dan beetje in de gang gestaan en idd ferm soms scheef schoon vrouw volk gezien. Hier en daar keer klapke gedaan ook. Dan rond 5u30 vertrokken wegens vermoeidheid vooral aan de benen en honger.

Enige minpunt zoals hierboven de wc's

Goeie locatie,groot genoeg en goeie organisatie kortom tjaar goed ingezet!
