Hello everyone,
I recently built a new PC using the NZXT X62 AIO cooler and have been experiencing problems with the lighting effects on the cooler.
So before I return I thought I might ask around, perhaps I'm doing something wrong.
The MB I am using is the Asus Z270E Strix and Windows 10 PRO (not sure if any other components have anything to do with it).
The pump and fans work just fine. The CAM software detects the cooler and let's me "play" with the options (including lights), but the lights themselves don't work. The NZXT logo is barely lit and depending on the effect I chose from the software it flickers. The ring doesn't light up at all. I trying moving the fan header from CPU FAN to AIO FAN and half the ring lit up, but the logo was now dead.
In Windows I see the device but when trying to troubleshoot it I get an error saying that it is a USB3.0 device connected in a USB2.0 port.
I have the latest drivers for the chipset, BIOS and cooler and tried changing the USB header, with or without fans attached, CPU FAN, AIO FAN header, uninstalling AURA software...
Any ideas?
