heb in principe al een post gedaan op abit forum, maar blijkbaar antwoorden die mannen daar niet (of weten ze het niet?)
dus speel ik op verschillende paarden
ik zal m'n probleem in het engels typen (lees: overnemen) voor de engelstaligen op het board
I have following setup:
Abit AX 8 (v1)
Tybotech PSU 400w (came with tybotech x-tower case)
AMD 3200+ with zalman CNPS9700 Led
1024 ddr 400 pc3200 ram
ATI X600PRO pci-x
wireless hifi pci card
creative sb live platinum + drive
sata 320 gb wd
ide 250 gb maxtor
i have following problem:
Since while, when i shutted down my pc, i heard a strange noise from my mainboard. it 'clicked' couple of times like it got power, than no power, power again, no power, power...
The POST leds gave me following: F.A. direclty switched to 2. then again F.A. (on same rhytm of the power on power off..)
it does that about 10 times, then it's quite...
when i directly restart the pc, it does not react directly on a press of the power button.
sometimes it gives the mainboard some power (for example i see the led of cpu cooling lit on, then directly off again)
when it finally got enough power it boots BUT it comes up with a long beep and 3 short ones.
(or was it 4? hm) while the post code stayed at 8.6.
when i clear my cmos it does not work out; when i leave it a while and retry about 10 times to clear the cmos it finally boots again!
i've put FSB speed on 3x instead of 4x (known bug with ax8?)
the thing that seems to me: a problem with the PSU, like it's lacking power sometimes.
I asked the technical service at my job and they don't know it either.
all the post codes i get are not shown in the manual or on internet.

ik heb gisteren succesvol m'n cmos gecleared (pc stond al een dag uit)
gestart; en nu start hij perfect zonder fouten
als ik de pc uitplaatste zag ik de post codes terug verschijnen (post codes bij afsluiten??)
het post codes - led bestaat uit 2 vakjes voor een cijfer/letter
het linkse ligt op met F., daarna het rechtste met 2., daarna terug linkse met F. .....dit gaat zeer snel (daarom dacht ik dat er stond F.A.)
dan moet ik 15 seconden wachten totdat er terug 00 staat
zéker nog 5 minuten wachten alvorens te starten anders begint bios terug te biepen en toont hij 8.6. aan.
