Metrico centers around infographics. It’s an atmospheric puzzle action game that strives to create a unique mindset of its own. The idea has been in our heads for a few years, and was born out of noticing how beautiful infographics can look as an art form. It was reinforced by seeing that infographics have become increasingly important in contemporary pop-culture. While they haven’t made their way to videogames yet, we think it’s a place where they can work exceptionally well. This is not just because of their pretty aesthetics as much as it is about actively changing data and how that can be visualized.

Metrico+ features lots of new content and the visuals have been completely revamped for the PS4. Instead of the worlds that use Vita hardware features, there are completely new unique worlds to explore with new mechanics and puzzles for the player to solve.

Metrico+ is done! We’ve waited a long time before posting anything again on the PlayStation Blog, because we wanted to come back with some big news. We finished Metrico+ last week, so we’re finally back here on the PlayStation Blog to proudly present a release date to you!

Metrico+ will be available for purchase in the PlayStation Store on the 23rd of August for €13,99.

We also have some great news for owners of the original Metrico for PlayStation Vita: If you own Metrico already, you can buy Metrico+ with a 50% discount! (This discount also applies if you were to buy Metrico on Vita right now, as long as you do so before getting Metrico+).
