Gargath zei:
I'll post mine. If you reach high/top level in FB. Please post yours. Or alternative routes.

My route is after all based on Horde levelling.

Up inntil 30 its pure horde land and makes no point in me posting.

Probably most of you will reach L30+ in closed beta anyway and get your own favorite route.

I'll edit in 1-20 in Night Elf area when i get around to edit my notes that fly around here.

L30 Mudsnut Gnolls Hillsbrad. Graveyard west of the Alliance outpost. Chest there (but involved in Horde quest, might skip or PvP a lot)
L31 Mudsnut Gnolls Hillsbrad.
L32 Murlocks. Beach SW in Hillsbrad.
L33 Murlocks. Beach SW in Hillsbrad.
L34 Yeti Cave N Hillsbrad. Follow road past Tarren Mill (Horde place) When you come to Elites in a caslte there to the NW north of Tarren Mill. Go east into the valley. Several caves there. With mining nodes. If your at the Snow Yetis, your at the wrong spot. The small village SW has a smithy. And are alliance mobs.
L35 Yeti Cave N Hillsbrad
L36 Yeti Cave N Hillsbrad
L37 Yeti Cave N Hillsbrad
L38 Trolls far north of Grom'Gol (Horde camp) Strangelehorn Vale. Save pages you get for nice weapon quest. In expedition camp. Don't need quest to get pages, just hand in later on.
L39 Trolls far north of Grom'Gol (Horde camp) Strangelehorn Vale
L40 Trolls far north of Grom'Gol (Horde camp) Strangelehorn Vale
L41 Wastewaver Bandits Tanaris. SE of Gadgeztan. Pick up Quest to kill them in Gadgeztan with follow up kill quest. Also there is a quest there to collect 5 Wastewander water pouches. DO THIS. NEVER throw away the water pouches. Each time you deliver 5 pouches. You get 380(i think) xp and a package with food/water perhaps mana/heal potion. This extra xp makes this the best xp spot in the game. There is also a quest to kill wastewander boss who roams and pirate captain. From the village E of Gadg. Do them at like L44. Pirates are behind a cave S along the beach E side. Pirates are also a good alternative IF the Wastewander spots are camped to hell.
L42 Wastewaver Bandits Tanaris. SE of Gadgeztan
L43 Wastewaver Bandits Tanaris. SE of Gadgeztan
L44 Wastewaver Bandits Tanaris. SE of Gadgeztan
L45 Wastewaver Bandits Tanaris. SE of Gadgeztan
L46 Wastewaver Bandits Tanaris. SE of Gadgeztan
L47 Ogres in ruins S Tanaris. 2 ruins there S and SE. You can do it in a circle for flawless kills. A roaming rare spawn there also. it got a silver drgon boarder but it is not elite. Just rare. Spawns like every 8 hour and wanders between S and E ruins.
L48 Ogres in ruins S Tanaris.
L49 Ogres in ruins S Tanaris.
L50 Green Elementals, Thistle Valley SW Tanaris. Green are low ac/hp. Don't bother with red ones. There is a Q involving killing both types. And a Q getting some item to thisty goblin Gadg. Do this then skip reds. Small thorium+mithril nodes here.
L51 Green Elementals, Thistle Valley SW Tanaris.
L52 Green Elementals, Thistle Valley SW Tanaris.
L53 Un'gore Crater Q's. its close so run down pick up the Q's you wanna do. 1 Q from Gadg also involving Tar from the nortern tar pits. Like the beacons(Q from inside the cave in the friendly camp north) which is fast to find. Linkens boomerang Q starts here near a boat Southside. Look in the water. If you don't know the locations of this stuff. perhaps just skip it. You can gain half a level in 30mins if you do. But don't explore for 5 hours here.
L54 Starting Quests in Azseroth. Camp southish when you enter from the Ashenvale side. Do them quick like kill the undeads etc. Then move to the North part of the area. Go east to Blood Elf Camp. There is a quest involving the BE on a mountain just N of their spot. You need to have a mean of disrupting spells to camp here. One type CH. The other nuke with fireballs. Alternative are the bear-men on the way there or Satyr camps.
L55 Blood Elves/Satyrs NE Azseroth.
L56 Blood Elves/Satyrs NE Azseroth.
L57 Blood Elves/Satyrs NE Azseroth.
L58 Blood Elves/Satyrs NE Azseroth.
L59 Blood Elves/Satyrs NE Azseroth.
L60 WIN!!

At 58 -> you need to kill very fast and have to be alone in the BE camp for it to be the best. Perhaps Western Plaguelands Easternmost camp with ghouls (They have the less dangerous curses) or Winterspring Yeti cave just S of the outpost. Or Bear-men camp near the zone entrance is good. But it takes a lot of travelling to get there.

5 hours per level is not bad so if your CUI like Cosmos predict that for you. Just stay.

My average level time from 40 to 60 was 4hours per level.

Its based on pure grinding mostly, except when you reach a new area and can pick up a few quests. Basically stay one place. Grind over and over. Move in a circle so that the numbers you kill represent the amount it takes for the kill circle to just respawn before you start it over. You will probably max your xp circle at the later levels in some areas. But its better to wait 30secs for your circle of mobs to respawn than to walk for 2 hours (half a level)

General tips.
- Above level 20. ONLY pick quest that involves killing the mobs you intend to grind on anyway and no travelling.
If you don't know what quests that is. Just skip it. its faster than to explore. I can assure you that there is plenty of cool quests at level 60 with cool rewards and cool spawns. So just skip it unntil later.
-Just buy weapons in the store if you don't find anything else along the way. The crafted and loot are not that much better. It don't matter much.
-Training weapon skills might not we worth the travel time unntil later. Swords are in Stormwind and Maces in Ironforge.
-Rogue poison quest is hard as fuck at level 20 (i did it and used like 5 hours just travelling, practicing pick lock and dying a lot) I suggest get it later.
-Only heartstone back to the city when you need to repair. Not when your bag is full of junk loot.
-Cloth items both blue, green and grey are MUCh lower priced than weapons. if your bags are full and its not repair time yet. Throw away a cloth/leather item before a weapon. Example some cloth gloves can be worth 20s and some weapon perhaps nearly 2g. Generally natural loot like feathers etc are also much more worth than armour pieces since they can be stacked with 5 or 20.
- Mobs are generally level ranged from the city or outpost of the zone. Just start there move out a little. Find a camp and start grinding. When you max there. Just move further from the city to next spot.
- Its faster to grind on equal and lower level mobs. Rewards will be poorer, but you will level to the high rewards faster. No true rewards before level 60 instances anyway.
-It is possible to do tradeskills while you grind. Humanoids have tons of cloth. Buy a lot of threads when your back to repair. Skin same thing. Buy some stacks of thread when you in the city repairing. Just throw away the items you create if your bags are full. Mining is completely possible. Smithing also. But dont do the mithril armour quest if your not very very interested. its a lot of travelling and requires like 200+ mithril bars.
-It is possible to gamemail items to one of your other chars. So if you have the bank full of leather/ore etc and nowhere near to use it. Just mail them to one of your other char and mail them back later when you want to tradeskill and are in a city/place with tradeskill places.
-You should probably make a dwarf and run to the Ironforge AH (if you die just res and die along the way unntil you make it. Camp him out there. You can log him on. Check AH. And log out. No point in running there with your main char every time you want to check the AH while you grind. Mail your gimp char some money. And bid with him. When he gets it just mail the item to your real char, and he can pick it up at the nearest postbox. Saves a lot of time.
Jami zei:
Ok heres how i did some leveling as nightelf so pretty much every nightelf class can do the same.

1-5 lvls in Shadowglen (noobie grounds)
5-10 lvls in Darnassus area and especially in the Den.
10-15 lvls in Darkshore (loads of stacking quest and grind spots)
after this i spend some time moving out from auberdine to menethil harbor
and ran through the big cities to get flying routes and weaponskills.
15-20 lvls in Westfall, nice stackable quests. It's worth doing most of them.
20-25 lvls in Redridge mountains (murlocs and those gnolls)
25-30 lvls in Duskwood, great for quest/grind combination. Only 1 graveyard so you don't want to die a lot.
30-35 lvls in Stranglethorn vale. Uber amount of quests that involve hardcore grinding and a little running. Also GUARANTEED pvp action while leveling.
35-40 lvls in Desolace with some minor ganking.
40-42 lvls in Stranglethorn vale. Grinding maybe do the quests left here.
42-46 lvls in Tanaris.

I'll update this when i proceed. Currently im lvl 20 when beta has been going on for almost 2 days. This way took me 2 hours to get to lvl 8 and when i had played 8 hours i was lvl 13. Only time consuming part in this is the moving to another continent but its pretty essential in my opinion and you get the fly routes as well.

EDIT: current lvl 45
SkylarK zei:
this is what i did with my hunter in beta

32->36:
- magram camp, desolace (you better don't play there at peak moments because you get ganked all the time at those moments)

36->37:
- goblins, venture co base camp in STV (didn't see much people there, maybe do 35-36 here too, since you get less ganked here)

37->40:
- bloodscalp trolls, beach North West STV <- this rocks! got 18k/h easily, and they often drop shadowhunter spear which sells to merchants for 1g10s (found it like 10 times i think)
- spiders in dustswallow marsh North West (though their exp isn't that good but it's a very lonely place undead_evil.gif )
- murlocs on the islands north of theramore

40->42:
- skullsplitter trolls, STV (little south-west of mosh'ogg ogre mound -- got 20k/h on these fella's)

42->44:
- witherbark trolls, hinterlands (seen very little people around there and it's very close to the vendors, so you can easily go and mail/purchase stuff)
(hint: make sure you do their amulet quest at aerie peak, gives you XP for every 5 you bring in, and they drop a lot)
44->45:
- naga explorer's, on the beach north of Booty Bay
- Zanzil hunters, on the beach east of Gurubashi arena
- (leatherwork grinding: crystal cave in STV, + quest singing blue chards)

45->46:
- yeti's in that yeti cave in the middle of feralas + LW grinding, humanoids but skinnable, gives a fair amount of thick leather

46->49:
- Dunemaul ogre's, south of tanaris (hint: when running around there look out for Gusting Vortexes, they have a nice chance of dropping breath of wind which sells at AH for 3g+)

49->50:
- vilebranch trolls, west of Hinterlands, 2 camps i just ran back and forth between the 2.

retail priest
50+: winterspring some grind quests
50-55:
- furbolgs north of Duskwood
- Yeti in winterspring
- bloodelves & demons in azshara
- naga beach in azshara (fairly lonely place)
55+: silithus
59+: instances + prequests

Here is what im following icon_smile.gif its made my warrior

-Get to 17-18 and then go to Redridge. Quest/grind.

-After Reridge around 22-23 go to Duskwood and quest.

-You can grind on wolves for a level. I did from 23-24

-26 or so you can do stockades instance in Stormwind. ok gear/good xp

-When you get to 28-29 you can sit in Raven Hill cemetary and go in the basement of the Skeleton Warder area(forget the name). You can grind there till 30-32.

-Then move to Kurzen Compound area and grind.

-35-36 move into the Kurzen Stockpile(the cave) and grind till 40s. By then you should have decent level to burn through the quests in the area for quick xp.

-40+ I did a lot of instances run for gear/xp. Quest for 2h Axe. DO THE QUEST(Gives 38.8 2h axe +stats and its great for your lvl) (Scarlet Monastery)

-45ish Hatecrests. Good grind mobs in Feralas. Go to southern island on north part. There is a cave with lots of them and quick spawn. Bring health pots/bandades. You'll need them.

-45ish+ move to Tanaris. Do quests and grind on ogres. Make sure to do Zul'Farrak instance for gear/quests.

-50 Deadwoods in Felwood. Big camp in Southwest. Large spawn.

-50+ Un'Goro, Felwood, Burning Steppes/Searing Gorge(BS and SG not recommend till 55+ but some low 50 stuff around)

-52-55 Temple of Atal'Hakkar instance over and over and over. If your guild has the levels and wants to group..go there. You won't be able to do Eranikus unless you have group of 54-55. Damn hard boss. Prophet/Jammal and Hakkar are doable with group of 52-53s.

-53-55 Jadefires in Felwood for grinding if you want. Quick spawns and there's lots of them. 2 camps. 48-51s Southwest and
51-54s in Northwest. They drop good stuff if you grind long enough. Found a couple Soulkeepers, high end recipes, some ok green weapons/armor.

-55+ Blackrock Depths. Over and over. You need the endgame gear from here. Also other stuff, but this is some of the best/The best beside Onyxia(no one has killed her yet to my knowledge).

Level 1-12:
- Newbie Zone :: You may have to leave at level 11.

Level 12-20:
- Westfall [Sentinel Hill, Westfall Lighthouse]
- Loch Modan [Thelsamar, Farstrider's Lodge, Stonewrought Dam]
- Darkshore [Auberdine]
- Elite Area: Mo'grosh mound (Loch Modan)
- Instance: Deadmines

Complete the easiest quests in the first area that you go to (Night Elves should visit Darkshore first, Dwarves/Gnomes should visit Loch Modan first, Humans should visit Westfall first.) Move onto the next zone, and do the same, but this time you can complete more of the zone. Leave the most difficult, unless you can get a group for them - don't waste too much time on it, though. Move onto the last zone and complete all, or nearly all of the quests available in that zone. By this time, you should be about level 17-18. Go back to the first zone, and complete the rest of the quests there.

Typically, my "first zone" is Westfall, in which case you can go back when you are done with both Loch Modan and Darkshore, and finish the Van Cleef line of quests and be at a good level to run the instance.

Level 20-22:
- Redridge Mountains [Lakeshire, Tower of Azora in Elwynn]

Again, do the easy quests in Redridge, which should take you up to level 21 or 22. Skip the more difficult quests unless you have a group for them. I'd skip the entire Stonewatch Keep area of quests just simply because that entire area itself is crap.

Level 22-30:
- Redridge Mountains [Lakeshire, Tower of Azora in Elwynn]
- Duskwood [Darkshire, Sven's Camp, Abercrombie]
- Wetlands [Menethil Harbor, Greenwarden, N. Loch Modan (The Algaz Gauntlet)]
- Ashenvale [Astranaar ?]
- Stonetalon Mountains [?]
- Elite Area: Dun Modr (Wetlands)
- Instance: The Stockades
- Instance: Shadowfang Keep
- Instance: Blackfathom Deeps
- Happy Loot: Naraxis' Fang (Duskwood)
- Happy Loot: Tiny Crimson Whelpling (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [26]: Dragonmaw Encampment (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [26]: Whelgar's Excavation Site (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [28]: Rotting Orchard (Duskwood)
- Grind Area [28]: Raven Hill Cemetary (Duskwood)
- Grind Area [29]: Vul'Gol Ogre Mound (Duskwood)

Preparation: Purchase Bronze Tube.

Start at either Duskwood or Wetlands. This is where "quest stacking" can come in really handy if you want to be efficient. There are many, many quests that send you to the same areas, and if you get all of the quests at once, you can knock all of them out without having to run back and forth. Considering Wetlands and Duskwood are fairly bad for having their towns on one side of the map and the quest mobs/areas on the other side, this saves a lot of time. A lot of these are parts of quest chains, so honestly it's hard to know if you don't have prior knowledge or do a lot of quest research beforehand - so don't worry about it too much, but try to be as efficient as you can. Once you finish one of the two new areas, you should be about level 25 and can go finish the harder parts of Redridge, and then finish the last zone.

Note for Stockades : There are 6 quests you can obtain for this instance. Lakeshire, Darkshire, Wetlands, Van Cleef note continuation (Bazil Thredd), and two from Stormwind.

Level 31-37:
- Stranglethorn Vale [Rebel Camp, Nesingwary's Expedition, Booty Bay]
- Hillsbrad Foothills [Southshore]
- Arathi Highlands [Refuge Pointe]
- Desolace [32]
- Thousand Needles [31]
- Instance: Gnomeregan
- Happy Loot: Howling Blade (Skhowl, Alterac Mountains)
- Happy Loot: Toxic Revenger (Gnomeregan)
- Happy Loot: Tiny Emerald Whelpling (Swamp of Sorrows)
- Grind Area [31]: Kurzen Encampment [!NOTE!] (Stranglethorn Vale) -- [Test needed]
- Grind Area [33]: Stranglethorn Raptors (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [33]: Growless Cave (Alterac Mountains)
- Grind Area [34]: Gallow's Corner (Crushridge Ogres - Altarac Mountains)
- Grind Area [36]: Venture Co. Base Camp (Lake Nazferiti - Stranglethorn Vale)

Preparation: Purchase all 15 pages of The Green Hills of Stranglethorn, 4 Bloodstone Ore.

Start at Stranglethorn Vale. Quest stacking here is also godly, since you don't want to have to run all the way to the northern end of the zone, do one or two quests and turn them back in at Booty Bay. Rebel Camp's quests are largely independent of the rest, though, so you can do those first. Then, head to Booty Bay, where you can pick up two main quests for the northern area: Investigate the Camp and the start of the Excelsior chain, both of which takes you to Nesingwary's Expedition, where you obtain all of the nice happy quests there.

Hillsbrad is only good starting at about level 33, at which point you can actually *do* all of the quests that you could obtain at level 30... Arathi only has one or two quests that you can actually do right now, but it's listed anyways.

Kurzen Cave has been fixed, which perhaps means that Jungle Fighters and Headshrinkers have as well, so someone test that out please.

Level 37-43:
- Stranglethorn Vale [Booty Bay, Nesingwary's Expedition, Rebel Camp]
- Arathi Mountains [Refuge Pointe, Faldir's Cove]
- Badlands [Various camps around the zone]
- Desolace [37]
- Elite Area: Stromgarde
- Elite Area: Mosh'ogg Mound
- Instance: Scarlet Monastery
- Instance: Uldaman
- Instance: Razorfen Downs
- Happy Loot: Tiny Black Whelpling (Badlands)
- Grind Area [37]: Lashtail Raptors (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [37]: Water Elementals (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [37]: Theramore Coast (Dustwallow Marsh) - Turtle Scales & Leathers
- Grind Area [39]: The spider cave north of Brackenwall (Swamp of Sorrows)
- Grind Area [39]: Rock Elementals (Badlands)
- Grind Area [39]: Elder Crag Coyotes (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Scalding Whelps (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Agmond's End (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Ziata'jai Ruins (Venture Co. Stuff, Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [43]: Naga Explorers (Stranglethorn Vale)

Preparation: Purchase 9 Blue Pearls, 1 Frost Oil, 1 Gyrochronatom, 4 Buzzard Wings, 1 Elixir of Water Breathing.

37 is where you obtain your next batch of quests from Stranglethorn Vale. Arathi Highlands has fairly decent quests in Faldir's Cove, or if you're feeling group-friendly, knock out the ones in Stromgarde. Badlands has a lot of nice quests, but you have to actually find them. This is where supplementing experience by grinding becomes more efficient at times, and at 42-43 you should be closing the last of your Stranglethorn quests, and be finished with Badlands and Arathi both, as well.

Scarlet Monastery. Black Menace or Sword of Serenity. Nothing more needs to be said - except where to obtain the quest: Desolace.

Level 43-46:
- Feralas [Feathermoon Stronghold]
- Tanaris [Gadgetzan, Steamwheedle Port]
- Instance: Zul'Farrak
- Grind Area [43]: Wastewander Bandits (Tanaris)
- Grind Area [44]: Isle of Dread (Feralas - Inside Cave; South of Feathermoon Stronghold)
- Grind Area [45]: Feral Scar Vale (Feralas)
- Happy Loot: 14slot bag! Cortello's Riddle quest, starts in one of the ships in Stranglethorn Vale for the end of the Bloodsail Buccaneers line of quests.

Fairly self explanatory, I guess. Not much going on here, really.

Level 46-50:
- Tanaris [Gadgetzan, Steamwheedle Port]
- The Hinterlands [Aerie Peak]
- Instance: Zul'Farrak
- Instance: Maraudon [49]
- Instance: Temple of Atal'Hakkar [50]
- Grind Area [47]: Undead in Western Ashzara (Azshara)
- Grind Area [47]: Dunemaul Compound (Tanaris)
- Grind Area [47]: Elementals/Golems around The Cauldron + N of it (Searing Gorge) - Elemental Leatherworking Supplies

At this point, you more than likely have a bunch of quests saved up for The Hinterlands - including but not limited to, the quest to gather Wildkin Feathers (from Rutheran Village), the quest to obtain a snapshot of Gammerita, the quest to obtain Violet Trajan, the last part of Cortello's Riddle, etc. Feel free to knock them all out at once.

Level 50-55:
- Searing Gorge [Kalaran Windblade]
- Blasted Lands [Blood Elf camp]
- Un'Goro Crater [Marshal's Refuge]
- Felwood [Emerald Sanctuary]
- Burning Steppes [Morgan's Vigil]
- Instance: Temple of Atal'Hakkar
- Grind Area [49]: The Overlook Cliffs (The Hinterlands) - Turtle Scales & Rugged Leathers
- Grind Area [50]: Deadwood Village (Felwood)
- Grind Area [51]: Ruins of Eldarath (Azshara)
- Grind Area [52]: Dreadmaul Rock (Firegut Ogres - Burning Steppes)
- Grind Area [52]: Legash Encampment, Thalassian Base Camp, Ursolan (Azshara)
- Grind Area [52]: Jaedenar (Felwood)
- Grind Area [52]: Sorrow Hill (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [54]: Temple of Arkkoran (Azshara)
- Grind Area [55]: Jadefire Run, Felpaw Village (Felwood)

The quests in Blasted Lands all stack on top of each other. Five in total, one for each stat; they give 4700 experience per turn-in, along with always the chance of obtaining a Draenethyst Sphere for Kumi'sha the Collector with every mob you kill. Un'Goro Crater has the biggest collection of quests out of all of these zones.

Level 55-60:
- Winterspring [Everlook, Starfall Village]
- Western Plaguelands [Chillwind Point]
- Eastern Plaguelands [Light's Hope Chapel]
- Instance: Blackrock Depths
- Instance: Blackrock Spire [60]
- Instance: Stratholme [60]
- Instance: Scholomance [60]
- Grind Area [55]: Felstone Field, Dalson's Tears, The Writhing Haunt, Gahrron's Withering (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: Northridge Lumber Camp (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: Corin's Crossing (Eastern Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: The Pillar of Ash (Burning Steppes)
- Grind Area [56]: Winterfall Village (Winterspring)
- Grind Area [57]: Blackrock Stronghold (Burning Steppes) [NOTE]
- Grind Area [57]: Ice Thistle Hills (Wintespring) - Rugged Leathers

Notes: Blackrock Stronghold is probably the best place to grind for a rogue; however, you do have to get used to how the roamers work. You'll probably die a few times along the way while learning them. Also, this might likely be another area where they're increasing the armor on the mobs, but two of the four kinds of orcs that spawn are casters, anyway. Ice Thistle Hills is not the best place to grind for experience, but it's probably one of the better places to get a nice quiet grind going and also leave with a few backpacks full of Rugged Leather.

Okay -- So this isn't really a "complete" grind area list, because honestly, you only have to sit down and grind at one or two places for a few levels before you can move onto the next tier of zones, and that's typically what I did. Just sit down and grind at one place, don't move around everywhere and you'll be out of there in a few hours or days. I've tried my best to list the best quest areas and zones as well for those that would rather try to quest and not grind their way through the game, too, but that's also somewhat incomplete, especially at later stages since I don't have much knowledge of the various new quests they implemented in Winterspring and the Plaguelands.
