I wanted to drop you a line to give you a Guild Wars update. First of all, we have a change in the date of the February Beta Weekend Event. The event will begin at approximately 12:01 a.m. PST on Friday, February 18th. We know this change may result in concern on the part of your site visitors, but with this change of date, we have an opportunity to present something totally fresh to the BWE participants: A new region of Tyria. We know that the chance to see, explore and play in this new region will answer a lot of the feedback we've been receiving, both about content and the gameplay experience. And as always, we will look forward to fan feedback on the new region in the form of comments, suggestions, and bug reports.

So, what's cool about this new area? You get to see Ascalon as it existed before it was decimated by the Charr. You get to learn more about the backgrounds of characters who will play important roles in the storyline. And the region is very free-form, with a lot to explore and a large number of quests in which to participate. And yet, the player has the option to race forward quickly to get to the main story, or to stay and linger, making friends with villagers and discovering lots of hidden content. We're excited about this new region and can't wait for everyone to see it!

omg en het is dus nog waar ook. Bevestigd door Gaile Gray op het guild-hall forum. Het bwe is verschoven naar 18 februari om nieuwe content te laten zien.

Ik had toch liever de 4de gehad en dien nieuwe content in de full version gezien. Seffens hebbek heel het spel al gespeeld voor de full uitkomt

hebt daar ma geene schrik vo, as ze het full uitbrenge denkte van wtf !?

Grmbl, ik zag er zo naar uit ni ver na men exaams. Oh well, nog maar ff wachten dan...

moete weer ne key hebben voor die beta zoals vorige keer of kunde gewoon spelen zoals world preview? of als het met ne key is zeg is aub waar i kdie kan halen en alst op een andere manier is moogde ook zeggen hoe ik kan spelen

Der zijn nog geen keys, en da zal ook ni voor direct zijn, hopelijk strooit fileplanet er terug mee.

Slecht nieuws voor diegene die nog geen keys hebben.

"Not this one. There will be a very limited number of keys given to those who win contests, but no giveaways and fewer opportunities overall."

Dus giveaways zoals fileplanet vorige keer en andere sites die keys weggeven zullen blijkbaar heel wat minder zijn. Dit is blijkbaar een bwe voor een select groepje.
