Het archief is een bevroren moment uit een vorige versie van dit forum, met andere regels en andere bazen. Deze posts weerspiegelen op geen enkele manier onze huidige ideeën, waarden of wereldbeelden en zijn op sommige plaatsen gecensureerd wegens ontoelaatbaar. Veel zijn in een andere tijdsgeest gemaakt, al dan niet ironisch - zoals in het ironische subforum Off-Topic - en zouden op dit moment niet meer gepost (mogen) worden. Toch bieden we dit archief nog graag aan als informatiedatabank en naslagwerk. Lees er hier meer over of start een gesprek met anderen.

Mijn cs wou daarstrx ook ni opstarte en keerde ook terug naar bureaublad ma bij mij wou eel steam ni werke.. ma mn broer had blijkbaar iet uitgestoke me mn firewall waardoor em geblokt was .. broers zucht :ironic:
ik heb sims2 en daarbij zit directX 9.0c dus daaraan zal 't zeker niet liggen.. ik heb heel lang cs gespeeld met dX9.0b

To coincide with tonight's Steam server maintenance there has been an update to the Steam client. Simply restart Steam for the update to begin.
Steam Client Changes / Additions
Removed Exit & Logout command
Improved authentication system
Improved UI feedback when Internet connection has been lost
Improved pre-loading behavior (will no longer pause)
Added new in-game languages: Japanese, Thai, & Russian
Also included in the update is a new Half-Life 2 hardware survey. It's mostly automated and will provide Valve with certain hardware specifications to allow for better game optimizations in the future.
Update: If you're having issues with CS crashing upon entering a game, VALVe recommends deleting any custom sprites, skins or sounds you have until they can create a working patch.

It should be noted that Steam is currently ignoring custom game content, but this feature will return once a permanent solution is found.
