Retro graphics met sprites, 8-bit muziek en classic dungeon crawling.
With a game like Cladun, you can never get a real sense of things after just a few minutes of playing. But Cladun already feels great and has the potential to be dangerously addicting. As the dungeons in the game are randomly generated, players will be able to seek fame and fortune over and over again without seeing the same dungeon layout. As for actual combat, Players not only have a basic attack at their disposal, but they can also use a shield, jump over traps and sprint with the R trigger. There was something incredibly satisfying about running through a dungeon and hacking away at enemies, earning experience along the way. This game was clearly designed with the RPG-lover in mind.
Players will also be motivated by the game's adorable dialogue. Right off the bat, I witnessed a conversation filled with comments like "I don't like cosplay," "skanky psycho," and "you're really hot, in an 8-bit sense." How could you get any better than that?
