Hello everyone,

I am leaving Belgium soon and I cannot take my PC with me so I need to sell it. It was built last year and has been serving me perfectly since. I have invoices for all parts, which are obviously still under warranty. The SSD and WiFi adapter were a gift for Christmas so they are even newer. It is a system built only with premium parts and it was designed for silent performance (silent case, silent graphics card and power source - the fans only start under heavy loads) so expect close to no sound from this PC. The cable management was done by a professional.

Here are the parts:

Motherboard: Asus Z97-K
CPU: Intel i5 4460
GPU: Asus Nvidia GTX750ti OC Strix Edition
PSU: Corsair RM550x Fully modular
RAM: HyperX Savage 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)
HDD: WD 1TB
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
WiFi: Asus PCE-AC56
Case: Corsair 100R Silent Edition
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Monitor: Asus MX259H
Mouse + Keyboard: Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3050
Webcam: Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000
DVD-RW Asus

As of today (1 April 2017) all the parts cost about 1300 EUR on Amazon.
I would like to get around 950 EUR for it.
I am also willing to sell it part by part, even if it is not ideal.

I have some pictures as well but I'm not sure how to upload them.

All my components do cost 1300 EUR on Amazon today, this is fact. Everyone is free to check. Asking 70% of that after 1 year is way too much? I am not being sarcastic at all. How much of their value do PC components lose after 1 year?

It doesn't matter what you paid.
The fact is you can build a better PC for the same price you are asking.

C'mon a GTX 750Ti?
It's just not a good build.

You should get around 500-600 for the PC, and maybe 150 for the monitor.

I fully agree with you that my build was not made with raw horse power in mind. Mostly because I wasn't expecting to have to sell it so fast. When I bought it I didn't really need something more powerful and I invested more in future-proofing my build: The PSU has 9 year warranty and will easily keep up with future upgrades, the Motherboard is unlocked for when I would have changed my CPU to a K model, the SSD is one of the best on the market, the case is solid and high quality and the monitor is really nice too.

As for the GTX 750Ti, I know it is the bottleneck of the system, but it overclocks very well and does a pretty good job in most modern games. For a mid-tear GPU this Strix is still holding up OK.

Asus and Corsair components are indeed more expensive but have better build quality. You are right, for 900€ you can get more FPS, but if everyone thought like that then we would see only AMD builds at mid to high level.

Anyway, you are saying it would be worth around 750€ for everything. I think if you add all the additional accessories it should go up to around 850€.

Build a second pc for my 'mancave' with used components.
i5 4670k, R9 290X, 16GB Ballistix Sport DDR3 Ram, MSI Z97 PC Mate mobo and 2TB HDD, 500gb HDD and Kingston Fury SSD 120GB, antec case, cd rom corsair cx850w,..

I paid 420 euro for everything. Took me a while to find the components used and at a decent price.
Compare my second hand build with what you're selling. Some components are better than mine but you can't compare used with new. :-)

Just using this to show you how cheap hardware gets after a while, compare second hand prices on websites like tweakers to see what your build is worth.
I've build my pc in 6 months so took me a while to find the bargains. The prices Taipan said should be possible, to be honestly without the monitor I would say 450.

Good luck!

Wow, that's depressing.
In that case I might try to get the PC with me somehow. Might end up losing less by paying for the transport than selling it for nothing.
I do need to upgrade my GPU though. What do you suggest? A GTX 1050? Wouldn't want to spend more than 200EUR on it.
Also, how much could I get for the 750Ti?

Thanks for the feedback!

If you still have the boxes, try and get all the components out of the case and take them with you, otherwise you will lose too much on this.
You can try on sites like 2dehands.be but you don't speak flemish and you are from brussels so people are cautious and suspicious and will not easily buy from you.

I myself automatically think any non native speaker that tries to sell on this site with no history is a scam. If not, best of luck.

Seen 750ti's go for 50 euro and maximum 75 euro. Wherever you are going check the second hand market I'm sure you'll find more power than a 1050 for less than 150 euro ;-)

OK guys, thank you very much for your feedback! This has been very helpful.
Will try to upgrade my GPU and take the rest with me. I still have boxes for everything so it should work.
