Archief - Thumbnails

Right click on Computer, choose properties. On the left side choose advanced system settings. Clcik the settings button under performance, then check "Show thumbnails instead of icons". Click apply and you should have thumbnails.

1. Open up the Control Panel, switch to classic view.
2. Select Folder Options.
3. Select the View tab- and under advanced settings,
make sure "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is UNCHECKED.
4. If so, uncheck, press APPLY and then check a folder to see if it worked. If so, congratulations!

[*]First, turn off thumbnail creation by opening Windows Explorer, clicking the [B]Organize[/B] button and selecting [B]Folder and Search Options[/B]. 
Click on the [B]View[/B] tab and check [B]Always show icons, never thumbnails[/B]. Click the [B]OK[/B] button.
[*]Then, run Disk Cleanup on Drive C: and empty the cache so you can recover the disk space. You can find it in Accessories/System Tools.
[*]In Windows Explorer, navigate to the [B]AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows[/B] folder under your name. 
If you can't find it, just copy the following: [B]%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows[/B] 
Paste it into the Address Bar and hit Enter.
[*]Right-Click on the [B]Explorer[/B] folder and select [B]Properties[/B].
[*]Select the [B]Security[/B] tab.
[*]Click the [B]Advanced[/B] button.
[*]On the [B]Permissions[/B] tab, click the [B]Edit[/B] button.
[*]Uncheck [B]Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent[/B].
[*]Click the [B]Remove[/B] button in the [B]Windows Security[/B] box that pops up.
[*]Click the [B]OK[/B] button on the Permissions Tab.
[*]Click the [B]Yes[/B] button in the [B]Windows Security[/B] box that pops up.
[*]Close all the open boxes.
[*]Go back into the [B]Folder and Search Options[/B] and uncheck the [B]Always show icons, never thumbnails[/B] and you're done.
