Warlock Scrapped from World Of Warcraft.

During the past months, we recieved lots of complaints concerning the warlock. Mostly about the soul shards, and the skill trees of this character, but also numerous persistent bugs caused a lot of complaints. Balancing this character, without losing it's unique gameplay experience, has been a hot topic here at Blizzard for a long time now, and we've tryed dozens of approaches to finally make this character how it was meant to be.
Sadly enough none of our attempts (many based on suggestions found on the official forums, for wich we thank the community) prooved succesful, and keeping a crippled character in the game is not worthy of Blizzards fame in customer service.
Therefore, we at Blizzard have decided, that with the next big patch the warlock will be scrapped from the game. To amend for this drastic measure, we will let warlock players convert their character to another class (with ofcourse all equipment, experience, etc... kept), and they will still have the ability to summon their demons (which will from then on only serve as pets, until we find a way to either integrate them into other classes, or feature them in an upcoming dungeon). We apologize for any inconvenience, and we once again wish you all good luck in your adventures in Azeroth!
