De Admins van onze server zijn Nederlands, maar de voertaal zal voornamelijk Engels worden. Er mag natuurlijk wel Nederlands gesproken worden in de server. Hier komt wat informatie over de server.

Hello adventurers!

This will be a tl;dr introduction of our server, you can find more information in the post below.

About the Server:

This is a new server, it’s been up for about 24 hours at the time I’m posting this. We’ve added most of the plug-ins we think are important for a better gaming experience.

On our first day we peaked at 11 people online, our group consists of 4. 11 people online isn’t much of an accomplishment, but it’s a great start for day 1.

Today (18-2) we've had between 11 and 17 people online pretty much the entire day except for the morning. There are some small clusters of people playing together, fairly scattered around the map. There is some hostility going on as well, mostly in the southern region of the map, we advise new players to look for a place in the north.

About us:

Our team has experience leading an MMO and additional moderators are picked carefully and only given the console commands to keep the server clean. This means that only the Admins can spawn items and such, there will be no power abuse on our server.

We value the community, we interact with players and keep them updated on our plans and ideas. We allow feedback and adjust plans if we see the majority of the community has different thoughts than us.

The thing we consider most important is to keep the server cheater free. If you ask us to spawn stuff for you then you’re asking us for help with cheating. You will be warned, kicked, temp banned and eventually banned if you continue asking us. Of course, hackers are banned on sight. You can report hackers in the chat if you spot one and we’ll look into it immediately.

Closing statement:

I added a lot of details about addons and server events in the post below, if you’re interested check it out.
If you want to jump into the action straight away press F1 in the main menu of Rust. Then you type:
net.connect 5.153.11.14:31015
and hit enter.

If you like the server, it’s a good idea to save the IP address somewhere. When Rust updates, your server history is usually empty or missing a lot of servers you have recently played on.

Hey mensen,

Oorspronkelijk had ik gewoon een server om samen met wat vrienden te spelen.
Maar nu dat Rust zelf whitelisting heeft toegevoegd hebben we besloten om toch mensen toe te laten.

Let wel, er wordt gefilterd zodat rotte appels geen toegang meer hebben tot de server.
En we zo enkel de goeie spelers over houden.

Er is 1 regel:
Enkel mensen raiden die online zijn.
Mensen die offline zijn moeten dus met rust gelaten worden.

Steam groep: RuSticO (is verplicht om door de whitelist te komen)
Jullie mogen mij (Tryax) ook toevoegen op steam om hier op te geraken.

Server details:

We’re going to start with the add-on information:

*Automated pre-defined informative messages.

*Airdrop frequency.
Airdrops are automatically activated at 5+ online players. When popularity increases we will play around with this a little. (Not up the player requirement, more likely increase drop frequency as player count goes up. More players online = Less time between Airdrops.)

*Chat history.
/history to see the last 20 player messages. (Only logs World chat.)

*Cheatpunch.
Anti-cheat.

*Compass/location mod.
/where to see your coordinates and the name of the location you are currently in. It will also give you a link to a webpage where you can enter these coordinates and see exactly where you are on the map. The addon also tells you which direction you are facing to make traveling easier.

*Day settings.
We have an adjusted day/night cycle. Night time lasts 10 minutes while a day lasts 40 minutes. These are just testing values, we will change this depending on community feedback.

*Death messages.
Shows who killed who in chat.

*Door sharing.
/Share NAME to allow someone access to all your doors.
/Unshare NAME to take away their access.

*FPS booster.
/fps to increase frames.
/fpsoff to remove the frame boost.
/grass to toggle grass on or off.

*Game time.
/time to see the in-game time.

*Help text.
/help for a list of commands.

*Local Chat.
/l or /local MESSAGE so only players who are very close to you will be able to read your chat.

*Ownership remover.
You can remove items you own by hitting them twice with your pick axe. The first hit will display a warning on your screen, the second hit will remove the item from the game and give you back 20% of the resources it cost to build. The player who placed the foundation owns all the items placed above that foundation.

Example: You build a house with your friend. He places all the foundations and you do the rest of the house. You won’t be able to destroy any items you placed, but your friend can.

*Player list.
/players to see the names of all online players.

*Poll system.
Mods can run polls, easy tool for community feedback.

*Private messaging.
We welcome all players from all countries. We allow people to speak their own language in chat if they please, but we like to offer a PM system as well for those who like to keep their conversations private.

*New player protection.
Protects all first-time connecters from PVP combat for 2 hours. Protection will drop instantly when you attack another player. Protection does not drop when you log out, it will save your protection time for your next play session. Note that you can still be killed, just not by other players. We believe 2 hours is enough time to get settled and drop your sleeping bag.

*Teleportation Request.
***We took out TP requests, too much abuse. Apologies to the users to used it only as intended. If you're new on the server and want to meet up with your friends but cannot find them you can ask for admin help.***

*Starterkit
Consists of Stone Hatchet, Sleeping Bag, Camp Fire and some Cooked Chicken Breasts.

We have some ideas for server events that we’d like to try out. Including but not limited to;

* Airdrop Event
We have some ideas here. We could drop one in a random or announced location during night time.
Or we could drop one in a heavy radiation zone during the day.
And in the later stages of the game, when guns are common, we could give everyone online a handgun or simple shotgun and drop one in the middle of an open field.
We think these scenarios could bring some extra fun to the server.

Reward:
Airdrop loot.

* Hide and Seek Event
This pretty much speaks for itself, Mod or Admin hides, players search. Hints will be given, reward will increase depending on difficulty. Say every 15 minutes a Mod/Admin has not been found, the reward would increase by 5% or so.

Reward:
Several to choose from, we want it to be interesting for everybody in the server.

Example: If you’re working on a metal house, chances are you’re not going to bother with an event that rewards the winner with 20 wooden planks. However, if you want Low Quality Metal in order to build that house, you will receive slightly less since they are more valuable than Wooden Planks.

* Doom Tower Event
A massive tower filled with mazes and deadly traps! Try to find the stairs on each level to advance to the next. When you make it to top there will be a storage box with a nice reward for the winner. We have several ideas of game modes involved with this Event. We could make it a real race by disabling PvP, or allow players to harass each other with rocks to make it more difficult to avoid our traps and remember directions in the mazes.

We will put a reward in the chest at the top of the Tower.

* Arena Event
We’ve built an Arena to host PvP events. We have an interesting layout which will make for interesting battles. Supply crates in random locations to help you heal up, reload and blast away your opponents.

Reward:
Again, there will be several to choose from. The Arena will supply you with a weapon, so new players stand a chance as well.

* Activity Event
We are currently placing some simple wooden houses in locations relatively close to the road, but out of view. These houses will be empty, with only a wooden door. There may be other ways in, if you’re clever enough to find one. If you can’t find anything, you could always bash down the door and claim the house as your own. This will provide the new players with a relatively safe place, all they have to do is place a metal door, maybe close up a window and they have a place to retreat to. We think this is a lot more fun than simply dropping 75 wooden planks in the starter kit.

We have also placed some wooden houses which are slightly more fortified, you will need C4(Walls/Doors) or grenades(Doors). Inside will be some treasure. These houses vary in difficulty and the reward will scale with the difficulty.

We’re not sure if we will keep running this event, going to await player feedback and see where we take it from there.

Reward:
(Unfortified house) A house!
(Fortified house) Anything from Wood to C4, depending on the difficulty of the house you choose to raid.

*Heavy raid event
(We will start this particular Event when we reach 20 online players. Just 3 more than we had today!)
There will also be a heavily fortified house, metal doors, traps, spikes around the base, anything we can possibly come up with. This house will be in plain sight in the more populated areas of the game. This house will yield some really nice rewards, but it will be hard to break in to. Bring a lot of C4 and some guns, because all those loud bangs are definitely going to attract some bandits eager to take your loot.
(We will start this particular Event when we reach 20 online players. Just 3 more than we had today!)

Reward:
Due to the extreme cost of breaking in to this house, there will be a lot of loot scattered around. Instead of a big loot chamber we chose to split the loot across the entire house. The deeper you make it into the house, the better stuff gets of course.

Everything in moderation, we will not be spamming you with events. Events are a lot of fun, but not when you’re doing one after the other. You will be playing the game as intended for the most part, events are just a reward for choosing to play on our server.

volgens mij ook Xevven, en heb nog nietveel admins online gezien sinds dan, dus loopt wel cava nu

Event tower is finished.

Arena is finished, first Arena GunGame matches were succesfully hosted today.
Currently working on adding additional game modes and building additional Arena's all with completely different layouts.

Removed the Teleportation Requests addon. Too much abuse. New players can request a teleport in the chat. *Please note that teleports are only used to bring people who are completely lost back to a familiar zone. Also people who are new to the server are allowed to ask for a teleportation request to meet up with their friends and start together.
