UO Patch
Before the rumor mill goes too far. We are still wrapping up our work on the Patch and MapPack.
Neither of them are going out this week. Just as reference we don't release patches on Fridays and typically not on Thursdays either.
That being said before the rumors start it's very unlikely that the patch will release next week, but we are working to have it done as soon as we can.
The Call of Duty v1.5 patch will release first with our patch following that release likely within a week or so.
That isn't a guarantee as the v1.51 CoD:UO includes a lot more changes, but it's a good estimate.
I can say that we'll start testing internally the Linux Server for CoD:UO v1.51 next week. So it's not too far off.
The UO Mappack
The dates for both releases could be the same, but we are working on both simultaneously.
Since our priority is to get out the patch it's possible that the MapPack will release shortly thereafter.
Each of the conversion maps will co-exist with the existing maps already present in your Call of Duty directory.
They will not replace those maps.
When selecting a map to play you'll be able to play the existing IW maps as you currently can, but now you'll also have access to the new variants that now support some of the new UO modes and functionality including support for LMG placement.
Brecourt is not included, however it is correct that there will be conversions that do have altered layouts to better support the new game modes in CoD:UO.
Of course both versions of the map would be available for play on systems with the MapPack installed.
They are not replacements, but rather updates to support the new modes of play.
There aren't plans currently to update other maps at this time, but anything is possible down the road
There are 6 COD maps in the new mappack
