DefuseKids held its first real bootcamp yesterday at the CyberDyn gaming center and SurfCafé in Auderghem. This café (they are gonna change their name & accomodation very soon, we'll let u know when that happens) has a long last tradition of being one of the best cybercafés in Belgium. With AMD Athlon xp2800+ , 512mb DDR and a radeon9800pro these pc's are equipped to play the heaviest games at high performance.
We played Counter-Strike trainings and wars and we never had less then 100 fps (indeed, even with 3 smokes we didn't). I tested the Counter-Strike Source beta and it gave 70-100 fps in full detail 1024*780. Really amazing i must say, and for us it is the best CyberCafé ever in Belgium. The managers of the café are intelligent people who know something about gaming and merchandising, it was a pleasure to have played there.
We had a great time there and due to such a succes for both us and the café we decided to come again wednesday, we'll be there from 12.30 to 21.00. Everybody is free to pay us a visit so come if you can
The purpose of the bootcamp is to achieve a decent result at the NetworkingDay Lan in Amsterdam on 27-28-29 august. We'll be meeting several good clans such as smokers and team-edit. The team attending on NWD Lan consists of
Azra / Bax / Luce / Zwik / Scoo and zweebee for the managing team
Scoo will be playing for us as a substitute and potential 5th member for the future (which we will evaluate after the NWD Lan).

Due to lack of a 5th member at this moment the riddle and the winners will be suspended for a while. We will of course NOT forget those who gave a good answer on the riddles and we will reward them later when our 5th is known.

We experience that many clans don't want to go to a particular lan because good clans are attending and thus, the chances of winning the first prize are seriously lowered. I think it's a sad behaviour, all games are about challenging right? So do us and other clans a pleasure and come to those lans, you'll certainly have a great time - not only by playing CS, there are much more things to do at lan - for sure.
Also the prizes for the CS compo's are very good on those lans, the organising team has made a lot of effort to get good sponsors and it would be good if they get rewarded with a full lan, don't you think?
The Belgian scene is having a boost at this moment thanks to good players and managers and we need you to complete this rise !
